Last weekend I went on a little adventure to Cornwall, one of my favourite counties in England, for a seaside break in Fowey. It was exactly what the doctor ordered: fresh sea air, stunning views and hearty British food. What more could you ask for?!
Belfast is Dublin’s edgier, less touristy and more political older brother. The city just oozes ‘cool’. It is much more built up and less in-your-face Irish (despite what the photo above may lead you to believe). The city is littered with quirky restaurants, independent cafes and politically charged murals.
My favourite place in England is, without a doubt, The Minack Theatre, a unique open-air theatre perched on the cliffs above the sea. If you want to travel abroad but can’t afford the flights, The Minack Theatre in Cornwall is the closest thing you can get to being abroad in England.
