Bottomless Brunch Durham: 8 Best Brunches You Need to Try [2024]

by

It’s easy to overlook Durham when it comes to bottomless brunch – many opt for a bottomless brunch in Newcastle instead.

Although its neighbouring city is certainly brimming with great brunch options, Durham does the job pretty well too.

And luckily for you, I’ve rounded up everywhere you can go for bottomless brunch in Durham!

So from pizza to full Englishes to delicious vegan dishes, here are the 8 best places to go for bottomless brunch in Durham.

1. Slug & Lettuce

Address: 7 Walkergate, Durham DH1 1SQ

Phone number: 0191 384 3564

Price: £28 per person

Bottomless brunch at Slug & Lettuce is always a guaranteed good time.

And for just £28 per person, it’s a no brainer, really!

£28 will get you one delicious brunch dish and bottomless drinks for two hours.

The drinks on offer at Slug & Lettuce are mimosas, Aperol spritz, bloody Marys, and pints of Amstel.

However, if you’re staying away from the alcohol you can still enjoy virgin Marys and a selection of soft drinks.

Food-wise, there are plenty of options to choose from, including your classic full English, smashed avo on toast, egg dishes, and pancakes galore!

However, if none of those dishes take your fancy, you can upgrade to more lunch-y options, like wraps, burgers and sandwiches, for an extra £3.

Similarly, an additional £10 will get you bottomless pornstar martinis.

One of the best places to go for bottomless brunch in Durham? I think so!

2. Revolution

Address: 1-4 North Rd, Durham DH1 4PW

Phone number: 0191 594 6617

Price: From £20 per person

Revolution is known for bringing the party and their Durham location is no exception.

They dish out delicious grub and a selection of cocktails, vodka and tonics, beer and fizz every Thursday – Sunday from 11 am – 4 pm.

Revs is one of the cheapest places to go for bottomless brunch in Durham as the 90-minute experience will only set you back £20 per person.

However, the food on offer also makes this brunch a no-brainer.

We’re talking the likes of fried chicken and bacon waffles, loaded hash browns, brunch burgers, brunch pizzas, and all that other carb-y goodness!

My order would have to be the blueberry, banana and nutella pancakes, and I’d wash them down with Aperol Spritz after Aperol Spritz.

If you’re feeling fancy, you can upgrade to any of their burgers for £2.50 extra, or upgrade to unlimited Pornstar Martinis and all V&Ts for an additional £10.

With burgers like a grilled cajun chicken burger, a Brooklyn mac’n’chicken burger, and a ‘This’ Isn’t Chicken katsu burger (yes, please!) on the main menu, it’s certainly tempting!

3. CoHo

Address: Freeman’s Pl, Durham DH1 1SW

Phone number: 0191 374 1000

Price: £25 + price of brunch dish

CoHo is a local’s favourite for bottomless brunch in Durham – and it’s not hard to see why!

This laid-back riverside eatery is a little sanctuary with a carefully crafted menu and quirky cocktails to boot.

And luckily for you, their bottomless brunch is just as amazing as the rest of the cafe.

It’s on the pricier end of the spectrum, with free-flowing drinks costing you £25 on top of the price of your brunch dish.

But it’s worth every penny in my opinion.

For drinks, you can enjoy Prosecco, selected draught cider/lager, or soft drinks for the designated drivers, and for food, you can order anything from their brunch menu.

The menu features delights like full Englishes, eggs benedict, pancakes, and breakfast sandwiches.

Your brunch can be as cheap as you make it with sarnies coming in at only £4, while the full Englishes are only £8 so they’re still pretty good value for money!

I think I’d have to order the pancakes with nutella and strawberries, but the full veggie breakfast also looks a treat.

Enjoy their bottomless brunch on Saturdays from 9 am – 3 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am – 5 pm.

4. Cosy Club

Price: £25 per person

Cosy Club firmly believes that brunch is one of the most important meals of the day, so they’re making it even better with their famous Boundless Brunch.

Situated on The Riverwalk, overlooking Durham Cathedral, the restaurant enjoys gorgeous views both inside and out.

And what better combo is there than bottomless bubbles and a great view?

Available every day from 10 am – 11.30 am (because bottomless brunch is for life, not just for the weekend), you can enjoy a yummy brunch dish and bottomless drinks for just £25 per person.

The drinks on offer are Prosecco, bloody Marys and mimosas, and you’ll get to enjoy them for 90 minutes.

However, there’s a lot more choice when it comes to food.

Firm favourites on the menu are the classic breakfast, cosy eggs, and buttermilk pancakes.

However, I think I’d have to go for the veggie sausage brioche bun with a house rosti.

Hmm, or maybe the shakshuka…

Regardless of which dish you pick to accompany your bottomless drinks, you’re always in for a good time when dining at Cosy Club!

5. The Library

Turtle Bay is wildly popular the nation over thanks to their delicious bottomless brunches.

And if Caribbean food is also your idea of a good time, Turtle Bay will quickly become one of your favourite places to go for bottomless brunch in Durham.

Their offer is simple: it runs every day with last sitting at 3 pm (5 pm Sundays), you get two hours of unlimited cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe and Prosecco, and you can order any brunch dish, burger or roti.

All of that for just £29.50 per person!

I’m a huge roti fan so I think I’d have to order the sweetcorn roti roll, though the big vegan grill down also sounds a bit of me.

The meat-eaters will go crazy for their famous sausage and bacon roti wraps, as well as the delicious hot chick burger.

However, if you’d like a wider selection of dishes to choose from, you can upgrade to any main menu dish for an extra £4.

Mac and cheese, or a Caribbean katsu curry?

Yes, please!

The platter features three meat dishes and five veggie dishes but sadly, isn’t suitable for vegans.

There are a few upgrades available too: a dessert platter for £5 extra per person, unlimited cocktails for £8 extra per person, and unlimited Prosecco and cocktails for £10 extra per person.
