1. The Abbey

Address: 53 Northgate St, Gloucester GL1 2AJ

Phone number: 01452 304357

Price: £25 per person

Craft Pubs are well-known the nation over for serving up some of the most delicious bottomless brunches in the land.

And luckily for you, The Abbey lives up to the hype.

Firstly, their bottomless offer is only £25 per person which is an absolute steal of a brunch.

This will get you one brunch dish plus unlimited, Prosecco, Espresso Martini, Aperol Spritz, Passion fruit Bellini, Amstel or Peroni for two hours.

However, if none of those drinks is up to scratch for you, you can upgrade to any craft beer on tap or selected G&T for an extra fiver.

Or if you’re laying off the booze, you can choose unlimited soft drinks or a virgin mojito instead.

The dishes are where it gets really good, though.

With tasty dishes like a full English, crispy French toast sticks, and a smashed avocado stack on offer, your tastebuds will be left seriously happy.

They also give you the option to upgrade to burgers or pizza for £3 extra if you fancy something a little more lunch-y instead.

This is one of the best places to go for bottomless brunch in Gloucester, that’s for sure.

2. Coal Kitchen

Address: Merchants Rd, Gloucester GL2 5RG

Phone number: 01452 523760

Price: £28 per person

Coal Kitchen serves up a bottomless brunch in Gloucester with unlimited drinks and mouthwatering food – basically the dream combo, no?

For only £28 per person, you’ll get 90 minutes of bottomless fun which is pretty reasonable considering what you get.

You get not one but two dishes for that price, which means you can try a couple of dishes.

Kick-off your brunch with something from section A!

I’d go for the vegan vanilla cream pastry or the garlic and fresh herbs sourdough pizzette.

But if you eat meat, the Chorizo, Italian Fior di Latte & passata sourdough pizzette sounds like a dream!

As for section B, their vibrant main menu features delights like brioche buns, skewers, shakshuka, Asian noodles, and halloumi pitta.

But if you just want a brunch classic, you can opt for the full English, veggie full English or the eggs on toast.

The drinks menu features everything from cocktails and wine to beer and soft drinks.

The Summer Blush and Mimosa Fizz cocktails have my name written allll over them!

3. Trattoria Settebello

Address: Unit B, Merchants Rd, The Docks, Gloucester GL1 2EW

Phone number: 01452 937655

Price: £25 per person

If you love an Italian, Trattoria Settebello will soon become your new go-to for bottomless brunch in Gloucester!

Their bottomless brunch offer is £30 for two courses and unlimited house wine, Prosecco or sparkling settellini – and it’s well worth every penny.

Step into their gorgeous restaurant and you’ll feel like you’re in Italy, feasting on authentic food around a big Italian family.

Their starters include delights like gnudi (ricotta fritters), tiger prawns, deep-fried calamari and buffalo mozzarella.

As for mains, they serve up pasta, fish dishes, paninis and a handful of main courses, including a delicious sirloin steak.

However, as a vegan, my favourite thing about this restaurant is that they have a full dedicated vegan menu for the non-meat-eaters among us!

I have my eyes all over the pizza luna rossa, casarecce con broccoli, and spaghetti aglio olio e pepperoncino.

(Spaghetti with garlic and harissa is complete proof that sometimes less is more!)

They also have several desserts on offer for those with a sweet tooth.

Sunday’s are bottomless at Trattoria Settebello so make sure you don’t visit on a Saturday, as you’ll only be disappointed.

4. The King Edward VII

Address: 47 Old Cheltenham Rd, Longlevens, Gloucester GL2 0AN

Phone number: 01452 381273

Price: £20 per person

On Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am – 2 pm, The King Edward VII serves up a delicious brunch that you won’t be able to stop raving about!

At only £20 per person, this is the cheapest bottomless brunch in Gloucester, making it ideal for those on a budget.

£20 will get you a main brunch dish and bottomless house Prosecco for two hours, with lots of great meals on offer.

Menu highlights are the full English breakfast (duh!), steak and eggs, eggs California, and the brunch burger.

Sadly, there’s only one vegan option so I’d have to opt for the smashed avocado on toast but if it takes as good as it looks, I’d be in for a treat!

However, if you fancy something a little more lunch-y, there are also two sandwiches on offer.

Served on white or wholemeal bloomer bread or ciabatta, with a dressed salad and crisps, you can choose between a chicken BLT with mayo and a prawns in marie rose sauce sandwich.

You better like Prosecco as that is your drink of choice for this brunch!

But if you’re not drinking, you can enjoy bottomless fruit juices for your two-hour sitting.

5. Brewhouse and Kitchen

Address: Unit R1, Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet, St Ann Way, Gloucester GL1 5SH

Phone number: 01452 222965

Price: £16 per person

Brewhouse and Kitchen‘s Prosecco brunch offering may not be bottomless but it’s certainly great value for money.

£16 will get you one brunch dish, as well as half a bottle of Prosecco which is enough to get you pleasantly tipsy!

Choose between their three Prosecco brunch offerings: a full English, a veggie breakfast, and a brunch burger.

Although I don’t eat meat, I have to say their brunch burger would be the option I’d go for if I did.

I mean, how good does this sound?

A 100% British beef brisket & chuck steak patty, American cheese, smoked streaky bacon, buttered mushrooms, and a free-range fried egg, all inside a breakfast croll (a croissant roll to you and me).

Delicious!

However, if you fancy ordering something for the side or to share, there are plenty of other brunch options outside of the Prosecco deal.

From buttermilk pancakes to smoked bacon eggs benedict to a grilled fried mushroom and spinach croll, there’s enough on the menu to stuff you silly.

6. Portivo Lounge

Address: Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet, St Ann Way, Gloucester GL1 5SH

Phone number: 01452 300881

Price: £21.50 for a pitcher + price of brunch dish

So this one’s not technically bottomless but it’s too good not to include on this list.

Lounges are popular across the UK and Portivo Lounge is no exception!

This is a great menu for picky eaters as there are endless options to choose from.

From the classic Lounge Eggs to the Avocado Brunch to the Triple-Stacked Buttermilk Pancakes, there’s something to suit every tastebud.

As for the alcohol, your best bet is to buy pitchers for the table.

You can enjoy Long Island Spiced Tea, Strawberry Sling, Elderflower Rosé Cooler, Blue Goose, and Cherry Bakewell cocktails.

These will set you back anywhere between £21.50 and £23.25, which when split between a few of you, isn’t too bad.

So there you have it: the six best places to go for bottomless brunch in Gloucester.
