Bottomless Brunch Hereford: 5 Best Brunches You Need to Try [2024]

by

If you grew up in Herefordshire like me, you’re probably more than aware of the lack of nightlife in the county.

However, surprisingly, Hereford is no stranger to bottomless brunches.

From popular chains to quirky independents, the city serves up four delicious bottomless brunches to tourists and locals alike.

So from full Englishes and pancakes to tapas and afternoon tea, here are the five best places to go for bottomless brunch in Hereford!

1. Cosy Club

Address: 42 Widemarsh St, Hereford HR4 9EP

Phone number: 01432 629031

Price: £25 + price of brunch dish

Cosy Club’s Boundless Brunch is one of the most popular bottomless brunches in the whole country – and for good reason!

Their menu is filled to the brim with all the brunch classics you’d expect from a popular chain like Cosy Club.

Think full English breakfasts, eggs benedicts, and buttermilk pancakes galore.

However, veggies and vegans need not miss out either cause there’s options for you too!

(The market garden breakfast is personally calling my name.)

90 minutes of unlimited drinks costs £25 per person and you can choose from a delicious selection of bubbles, Bloody Mary’s and mimosas.

Enjoy your bottomless drinks to the backdrop of this historic building – it dates back to 1621 so the architecture is pretty impressive.

With original wood panelling and massive fireplaces, it takes the ‘cosy’ in its name very seriously.

This is definitely an Instagrammable brunch if I’ve ever seen one!

2. The Imperial Inn

Address: 31 Widemarsh St, Hereford HR4 9EA

Phone number: 01432 360931

Price: £27 per person

The Imperial Inn is found in a traditional black and white Tudor building that has ‘Hereford’ written all over it.

You probably wouldn’t expect a bottomless brunch from a family-friendly pub but that’s exactly what they’re serving up!

Their bottomless brunch is really well-priced at £27 per person for one main dish and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes.

However, if you’re not in the mood for a super boozy brunch, you can opt for their Tipsy brunch instead.

This offering gets you a brunch dish and two drinks for just £12 per person.

How generous is that?

Luckily for you, their generosity also extends to their drinks selection, as they allow you to choose from Prosecco, Prosecco Rosé, Gordon’s Pink Spritz, Aperol Spritz, Carling, Fosters and selected premium lager.

As for their brunch menu, expect all the classics, like a Full English and avocado on toast.

However, if you want to upgrade your meal to more of a lunchy vibe, you can do so for an extra £3.

This will get you some delectable dishes like a red pepper houmous open sandwich and a smothered chicken burger.

I guess that all that’s left to do is to pick your poison and prepare to party!

3. Gilbies Bar & Bistro

Address: 4 St Peter’s Cl, Commercial St, Hereford HR1 2DL

Phone number: 01432 277863

Price: £15 per person + price of brunch dish

Gilbies is by far one of the city’s coolest eateries and easily one of the best places to go for bottomless brunch in Hereford.

If you love tapas like I do then you’re in luck because this sleek spot serves up some of the most delicious tapas in town.

Expect classics like patatas bravas and albondigas sitting alongside quirkier offerings like feta stuffed peppelino peppers and spicy Korean pork bites.

(It’s safe to say your tastebuds are in for a treat if you book a table here.)

But don’t worry, because this brunch will definitely quench your thirst too.

Bottomless bubbly (read: unlimited Prosecco) will set you back £15 per person when you purchase one main or three tapas.

So if tapas isn’t your thing don’t worry because the menu also features beauties like loaded dirty fries, king prawn pasta, and mozzarella and pesto ciabatta.

Personally, I’d be alllll over the roasted seasonal veg flatbread kebab.

It feels like the ultimate healthy hangover cure to preemptively soak up the alcohol while you’re already drinking.

4. The Brunch Club

The Brunch Club’s home in Hereford is The Green Dragon Hotel, a beautiful and historic hotel that I’m sure you’re already familiar with.

All their events are themed so you can expect to sing and dance your heart out to all kinds of artists and genres for a whole three hours.

We’re talking Ibiza Classics, JLS, N-Dubz, Disney, Abba, Spice Girls, Beyoncé, S Club 7, Lady Gaga, and so many more…

Dress-up is encouraged so get your themed glad rags on for this one!

Tickets start from £40 per person and they are worth every penny as they’re just so much fun.

For that price, you get bottomless Prosecco, mimosa, Bramble colins, and sex on the beach for 60 minutes.

Address: The Green Dragon Hotel, Hereford HR4 9BG

Phone number: 01432 272506

Price: £31.95 per person

If it’s bottomless bubbles that you’re after but you don’t mind what they’re paired with, The Green Dragon Hotel also does a bottomless afternoon tea, as well as hosting The Brunch Club.

Their bottomless afternoon tea sounds just as appealing (though maybe a little less rowdy!).

If civilised is your vibe, this decadent afternoon tea may just tickle your fancy.

The afternoon tea comprises scones with jam and clotted cream, lemon posset, chocolate brownie, cheesecake, macaron and freshly made sandwiches.

My mouth is just watering thinking about it!

It’s usually served with freshly brewed tea or coffee but of course, you can upgrade to bottomless Prosecco to make the occasion extra special.

The initial afternoon tea costs £19.95, whereas the additional £12 for two hours of free-flowing Prosecco brings your total to £31.95.

Not a huge price to pay to add a little glamour to your weekend!

Plus, very few bottomless brunch spots allow a whole two hours for drinks, meaning you’ve got a better chance at getting boozier.

Bottoms up!
