A bottomless brunch in St Albans is always a good idea.

I mean, it’s delicious food and free-flowing alcohol…

What more could you want?!

Well, luckily for you, St Albans is home to seven great places to go for bottomless brunch.

And, to top things off, I’ve rounded them all up here for you.

From quirky independents to chains you know and love, here are the seven best places to go for bottomless brunch in St Albans!

1. Slug & Lettuce

Address: 13-15 Victoria St, St Albans AL1 3JJ

Phone number: 01727 857494

Price: £28 per person

Bottomless brunch at Slug & Lettuce is a guaranteed good time.

And for just £28 per person, it’s a no brainer, really!

£28 will get you one delicious brunch dish and bottomless drinks for two hours.

The drinks on offer at Slug & Lettuce are mimosas, Aperol spritz, bloody Marys, and pints of Amstel.

However, if you’re staying away from the alcohol you can still enjoy virgin Marys and a selection of soft drinks.

Food-wise, there are plenty of options to choose from, including your classic full English, smashed avo on toast, egg dishes, and pancakes galore!

I’d personally have to go for the pornstar pancakes or the full vegan breakfast.

However, if none of those dishes takes your fancy, you can upgrade to more lunch-y options, like wraps, burgers and sandwiches, for an extra £3.

Worth it for the southern-fried chicken wrap or the meat-less burger, surely?

Similarly, an additional £10 will get you bottomless pornstar martinis.

Bottoms up!

2. The Beech House

Address: 81 St Peter’s St, St Albans AL1 3EG

Phone number: 01727 701230

Price: £30 per person

The Beech House is a firm favourite when it comes to bottomless brunch in St Albans, and it’s not hard to see why!

If it’s a touch of class you’re looking for, you’ll find exactly that in this brunch.

Firstly, their menu is the stuff of dreams.

I mean, who can say no to sweet potato, avocado and fior di ricotta hash?

Other standout dishes are the sweet potato and chorizo hash, eggs funghi, and the Portobello – it all sounds amazing, really!

You’ll get to enjoy one of these delicious dishes for £30, and this covers the price of bottomless alcohol too.

The bottomless alcohol in question is 90 minutes of Prosecco, mimosas, and Beavertown Gamma Ray.

Although there’s not loads of choice when it comes to alcohol, there’s certainly something for everyone.

This bottomless brunch is available every Monday to Saturday until 4 pm so you can enjoy it almost every day of the week!

It’s seriously special so book in quick to avoid disappointment – I promise you won’t regret it.

3. Megan’s at the Old Bell

Address: 22 Chequer St, St Albans AL1 3YD

Phone number: 01727 327150

Price: £20 per person + price of brunch dish

Megan’s is fast becoming one of the best places to go for bottomless brunch in London, and it’s not hard to see why once you visit one of their fantastic restaurants.

The Mediterranean food pairs beautifully with bottomless Prosecco, which will cost you £20 per person plus the price of your food.

That price will get you 90 minutes of bottomless Prosecco, and the offer is available on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays between 3 and 6:30 pm.

Their brunch menu is self-described as ‘food from sunny places’ so it’s essentially the Mediterranean dream.

Expect gorgeous dishes like the Turkish brunch fondue and the shakshoumi baked eggs to be the perfect accompaniment to your free-flowing fizz.

I fancy the look of the vegan brunch and the scrambled turmeric tofu so I’d have to go for one of those!

Megan’s is a great venue, and the fact that their restaurants are popping up all around the city is testament to that.

If there’s one thing they know how to do, it’s making sure you have a great time with them, so get on down there and enjoy.

4. Craft & Cleaver

Phone number: 01727 568300

Price: £25 per person + price of brunch dish

Craft & Cleaver‘s bottomless brunch is all about delicious BBQ food, amazing cocktails and banging tunes.

What more could you ask for?!

Well, this is an alfresco brunch which is always a winner in my books.

In the autumn/winter, you’ll be enjoying their bottomless brunch on their covered terrace, complete with cosy heated booths, heated tables and flame heaters.

You’ll be protected from the elements while enjoying your 90 minutes of bottomless bubbles, mimosas, craft lager and margaritas.

These will cost you £25, and you’ll have to order your brunch dish separately.

While this means that this bottomless brunch is a little more expensive, it also means you have free reign over their entire menu which is what we love to see!

Maybe you fancy a BBQ dish?

Or how does a burger sound?

Whatever you’re in the mood for, Craft & Cleaver has got you covered!

From baby back ribs and beef brisket to a plant-based jack burger and a peach and burrata salad, their menu is filled with all kinds of delights.

I think I’d fancy trying the Korean chicken burger but it all sounds great, to be honest!

This bottomless brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 5 pm, with last sittings at 3:30 pm.

5. Blacksmiths Arms

Phone number: 01727 868845

Price: From £25 per person

Blacksmiths Arms is one of the most cheap and cheerful places to go for bottomless brunch in St Albans.

£25 per person will get you a full two hours of unlimited drinks from their huge drink menu.

So whether you’re a lager lover or a cocktail connoisseur, your tastebuds will be happy here, that’s for sure.

However, if none of the drinks is up to scratch for you, you can upgrade to any craft beer on tap or selected G&T for an extra fiver.

The dishes are where it gets really good, though.

With tasty dishes like a full English, crispy French toast sticks, and a smashed avocado stack on offer, you’re really being spoilt here.

They also give you the option to upgrade to burgers or pizza for £3 extra if you fancy something a little more lunch-y instead.

Worth it for the easy cheesy pizza, I’d say.

This offer is available every Saturday and Sunday until 1 pm so you’ve got plenty of time to schedule this one in.

6. King Harry

A proper pub with simple, honest food, The King Harry is a great choice for a no-frills bottomless brunch in St Albans.

For £30, you’ll get one of their delicious brunch dishes, alongside 90 minutes of free-flowing Prosecco, bloody Marys or Camden Hells lager.

Those who aren’t drinking can still get involved with the bottomless fun, though, by enjoying unlimited fruit juice instead!

Their brunch menu is wide-ranging and delicious, with dishes like a steak sandwich and crushed avocado and feta on toast available to order.

Of course, they also serve all the brunch favourites like eggs Benedict so there’s something for everyone on the menu.

The full veggie breakfast gets my vote but I think I’d have to visit again just to try out another dish.

Pre-booking is essential for this one so book now to avoid disappointment!

7. Prime Steak and Grill

Prime Steak and Grill is probably the classiest restaurant on this list so if that’s what you’re looking for, this brunch may well be up your street too.

For £39, you’ll be enjoying two courses with unlimited bottomless Prosecco, pink gin spritz or St Germain spritz for 90 minutes.

However, if you fancy treating yourself, why not indulge in their Premium Brunch upgrade which gets you bottomless pornstar martinis and espresso martinis for an extra £10?

To begin, you’ll all start with a sweet and savoury basket, before moving on to your main.

There are plenty of delectable dishes to choose from, including a short rib Benedict, a grilled halloumi burger, and a chicken caesar salad.

I’d be going for the berry pancakes, and I’d wash them down with elderflower spritz after elderflower spritz.

What a dream combo, right?

It’s safe to say that whatever you choose, you’re in for a treat as they’re all about exceptional quality at Prime!

Pre-booking is essential and can be made any Saturday between 11 am and 2 pm.
