Starting off with one of the newest additions to Glasgow’s entertainment scene is the renowned golf venue, Topgolf.

A golf destination, party venue, sports bar, and restaurant all rolled into one, this spot isn’t only for someone who knows what their ‘handicap’ is – it’s fun for everyone!

The high-tech driving range uses micro-chipped balls that track your shot, and there are loads of different games to play.

(For different levels of experience, too!)

On top of that, there’s a pretty swanky lounge serving drinks and offering other games to keep you busy.

Prices vary depending on how long you want to play, but Topgolf definitely lends itself towards a double or group date, as you get a whole bay to yourself.

Located inside a gigantic warehouse, this neon graffiti-covered venue is far from your average mini golf course.

With 18 themed holes full of innovative challenges, bespoke art, and Insta-worthy spots, Golf Fang will entertain for hours.

But what really tops it off is the atmosphere.

DJs, cocktails and street food keep the party going long after you’ve put your putter down!

The Stand Comedy Club is a bit of an institution in the west end of Glasgow, with a stage that has welcomed comedy acts from all over the world as well as local Scottish legends like Kevin Bridges and Larry Dean.

But the real star of The Stand’s show is Red Raw.

Their long-running weekly beginner’s showcase is fondly known as the best open mic night in the UK.

Up to ten brand new acts take to the stage (some for the first time ever) and if one thing is guaranteed, it’s that you’ll both leave with your cheeks sore from laughing.

(Although there are donation points throughout!)

See the world-famous Salvador Dali masterpiece ‘Christ of St John of the Cross’, take a picture with Kelvingrove’s infamous Floating Heads, and compare notes on art from across the globe.

And once you’re finished, why not take a stroll through the gorgeous Kelvingrove Park surrounding the museum?

You’ll get a short induction if it’s your first visit, and you can hire the proper bouldering shoes for a few extra pounds.

Over 200 years later, Sloans has become a bar, bistro, wedding, and event space that hosts some legendary Friday night ceilidhs.

Dubbed ‘one of the best night’s out in Glasgow’, a ceilidh is the perfect opportunity to dance the night away with your date (and try your hand at ceilidh dancing, if you haven’t before!)

Hosted in Sloans Grand Ballroom with their resident ceilidh band ‘Chitterybite’, this is sure to be a date to remember.
