14 Amazing Glamping Holidays with a Hot Tub in Ireland [2024]

by

Ireland is home to an array of amazing and unique glamping holidays.

However, only a small handful of them come complete with a hot tub!

So if you want to upgrade your usual glamping holiday and add a little bit of glamour to your stay then you’ve come to the right place.

These glamping holidays with a hot tub in Ireland range from romantic getaways for two to holidays you can go on with a group of family or friends.

So from treehouses and shepherds huts to yurts and safari tents, here are 14 amazing glamping holidays with a hot tub in Ireland.

1. Grove House Treehouses

Price per night: From €169 for 2 people

Location: Skibbereen, Co. Cork

Grove House is home to three treehouses in Ireland, each as amazing as the last!

And most importantly, they are all 100% constructed from sustainable materials, meaning they leave no carbon footprint.

Ascend the tree trunks that act as steps and enter the treehouse to be greeted by gorgeous cosy interiors.

There’s a spacious open-plan living, sleeping and dining area and a separate bathroom with a quirky sink and walk-in shower.

But the best thing about these treehouses is their decks.

Open the French doors and you’ll discover a large deck overlooking the countryside, with a private two-person Canadian hot tub, chairs and a table.

What guests say: “Treehouse 2 exceeded our expectations and was even better than it looked on the website. All the small, extra touches made us feel very welcome and were much appreciated. The Treehouse is beautifully decorated inside and was very clean upon arrival. The fact that there were tea, coffee and milk waiting for us was an added bonus. The hot tub is fabulous and adds so much to your stay.”

2. Killaloe Luxury Pod

Price per night: From €199 for 2 people

Location: Garranroe, Co. Clare

With breathtaking views of the River Shannon, Killaloe Luxury Pod is the perfect place to find peace and serenity in Ireland.

And you’ll definitely find peace and serenity while soaking in the outdoor hot tub in front of these unparalleled views!

Inspired by a traditional timber-framed holiday chalet, yet equipped with state of the art amenities, the pod is both close to nature but luxurious at the same time.

It’s fitted with a handcrafted double bed, Egyptian Cotton luxury bed linen, a fully-equipped kitchen, a satellite TV and a bathroom with a power shower.

And if that wasn’t enough, they even provide a delicious complimentary breakfast too.

What guests say: “This place is so nice! Everything is kitted out so well perfect for a relaxing weekend away! The hot tub is so relaxing and so peaceful at night looking up at the stars. I loved the little touches such as the champagne and chocolate! The pod itself was so cool little things stood out like the tv could be adjusted with a remote, the curtains were electric, the ground coffee and nightgowns! Absolutely gorgeous & spotless place!”

3. The Old Mill Shepherds Hut

Price per night: From €130 for 2 people

Location: Slane, Co. Meath

One of my favourite glamping holidays with a hot tub in Ireland, the beautifully decorated The Old Mill Shepherds Hut is modern and well-equipped.

Inside, the elegant hut has its own kitchen and ensuite toilet and shower facilities.

It shares communal facilities, such as the BBQ, lawn and small playground, with the safari tents on-site.

However, the hot tub is only shared with one safari tent and you have your own designated time slots so it still feels really private!

And one of the best things about this shepherds hut is the heater and electric blanket that mean you’ll stay toasty even on those colder nights.

What guests say: “Amazing night away in the shepherd’s hut. Spotless and great facilities. All the utensils that you need cooking in. Hot tub shared but is completely private once you have booked your time slot. Already have it on the list to return! Highly recommend and staff and extremely helpful and friendly!”

4. Slane Safari Tents

Price per night: From €120 for 4 people

Location: Slane, Co. Meath

Set on the same site as The Old Mill Shepherds Hut, you’ll find three amazing safari tents.

Although they may have the word ‘tent’ in their name, these beautiful, wooden-framed, five-metre safari tents feel far from the usual tents you’re probably used to sleeping in.

Sleeping four people across a luxurious double bed and a large sofa bed, the tents are well-equipped with solid wood floors, electricity, electric blankets, a heater, bedding and towels.

It’s basically a home-away-from-home that’s just a little closer to nature!

Oh and with the extra special addition of an outdoor six-person jacuzzi.

What guests say: “If you want to get away from it all this is the place. Tent roomy and spacious, bed very comfy, cooked our dinner on our own camp stove then a hot tub in the evening with a glass of wine and a beer watching the night come in. So relaxing. Great walks along the Boyne river passing Slane Castle and through the woods. Great staff too.”

5. Yurty Ahern Yurt

Price per night: From €140 for 4 people

Location: Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon

Fancy a hot tub dip overlooking a beautiful field that boasts some amazing sunsets? Then book a stay in Yurty Ahern.

This cosy Mongolian yurt is set on a raised floor with insulated walls, a timber-framed roof and an oil-filled electric heater to keep the yurt extra toasty, no matter the weather.

The four-person wood-fired hot tub is also set on a covered timber deck, meaning the rain won’t stop you from going for a soak.

On-site you’ll also find a range of facilities, including fishing, massages and more, so you’ll never get bored here!

Plus, after lots of long countryside walks, you can expect to be refuelled each morning with a complimentary continental breakfast.

What guests say: “We loved our stay in the yurt! Despite it being a raining & windy day, inside the yurt was lovely and warm and very cosy. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay special. The toilet and shower were by far the best I’ve seen at any campsite location. There is lots of space to explore and if you fancy something different at the site you can even buy pizza kits and cook your own pizza in their pizza oven!”

Price per night: From €39 for 2 people

Location: Slane, Co. Meath

Rock Farm Slane is probably the best glamping site with a hot tub in Ireland.

Home to a wide array of accommodation options, such as cabins, yurts, shepherds huts and bell tents, there’s something for everyone!

I’m going to kick off their offerings by recommending Swallow’s Nest Tiny House.

This unique strawbale cabin was built from barley straw from the farm, and local clay and lime plaster.

So if you’re looking for somewhere to stay with a small ecological footprint, then this is the stay for you.

Bright and inviting, it also has uninterrupted views across farmland and woods, which are best enjoyed from your private veranda.

What guests say: “Our stay was great! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Swallows Nest was perfect and very quaint, with a view overlooking the natural pool. The perfect place to get away from it all. The communal kitchen area is equipped with everything you need, is very clean and a great way to meet people also staying. All this along with the use of the pizza oven and the hot tub, we couldn’t have asked for more.”

7. Rock Farm Slane Yurts

Price per night: From €64 for 6 people

Location: Slane, Co. Meath

Oh-so-beautifully decorated, the yurts at Rock Farm Slane are something seriously special.

I mean, this has got to be one of the most beautiful places to go glamping with a hot tub in Ireland, right?

With an ash frame and canvas cover, the traditional style Mongolian yurt brings you closer to nature, without compromising on luxury.

Inside, you’ll find a double bed, two single beds, a large wood-fired stove, and an electric heater.

And of course, that’s not to forget the lanterns, fairy lights, crisp white linen, bath towels and handmade toiletries that make this stay extra special!

Your private veranda is another highlight as it allows you to soak up the sun while dining al fresco.

What guests say: “A wonderful setting and very friendly, thoughtful and kind hosts. The farmers market was a lovely extra bonus. The river walk and chance of kayaking and other activities were fabulous. We will most definitely be back with our dog and can highly recommend it.”

Price per night: From €39 for 2 people

Location: Slane, Co. Meath

Next up we have Pine Shepherds Hut, another personal favourite from Rock Farm Slane’s amazing selection of glamping accommodation.

Traditionally designed with a beautifully crafted interior, this is definitely one of the most romantic getaways in Ireland, and you’ll love a stay here no matter rain or shine.

If the weather’s on your side, you can roam the working farm and meet free-range organic livestock (cows, pigs, chickens, geese and turkeys) as well as dogs and cats.

And if it’s cold and rainy, you can cosy up by the highly efficient stove with a continual supply of eco-firelighters, kindling and firewood.

What guests say: “This place is actually the most perfect place. It’s so relaxing with all the animals around pheasants grouse and squirrels, the hot tub in the trees with the fairy lights over it and candles. Everything was so beautiful, the walk is so relaxing and the view of the castle is lovely. This place really exceeded all my expectations and I can’t wait to come back again.”

9. Rock Farm Slane Bell Tents

Price per night: From €60 for 4 people

Location: Slane, Co. Meath

Last up for Rock Farm Slane, if you’re looking for a more authentic camping experience (while still not compromising on any luxuries) then you’ll love the bell tents.

Set on wooden decking amid a village of bell tents in a woodland setting, all of their luxury bell tents sleep four very comfortably.

At the heart of each tent sits a heater to keep you warm and toasty on even the chilliest nights.

And with throws and hot water bottles galore, there’s no chance of getting cold here!

What guests say: “From the organic food packs to the picturesque views of the nearby Castle, Rock Farm is a dream for anyone who likes to connect with people over the campfire, or have their kids swing on a magical old tree. We hope to stay here again and have more time to have wood-fired hot tubs, stay in the yurts, and enjoy the sweetness of the communal kitchen.”

10. Centre Parcs Treehouses

Location: Longford Forest, Ballyhoman, Co. Longford

Each of Centre Parcs‘ treehouses boasts spacious and modern open-plan living areas, a games den, entertainment system and your own private outdoor hot tub.

This means that there is plenty to keep you busy even on rainy days.

On sunnier days, enjoy dinner al fresco on your large private decking and balcony.

And one of the best things about staying in these treehouses is that you can enjoy all of Centre Parcs’ amazing facilities.

From the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and brand-new Aqua Sana Spa to an exciting range of indoor and outdoor activities, there are an endless amount of things to keep you occupied.

What guests say: “Absolutely stunning site, very comfortable well-equipped accommodation (really comfy beds) and a good range of activities and restaurants. The Subtropical Paradise is amazing – loved the rapids and the two-man raft ride. The Aqua Sana is a wonderful relaxing experience with an excellent range of treatments. Superb mini-golf course but the favourite activity for our group was the laser combat and the target archery. Something for everyone.”

If you want to stay in a hut that feels slightly less Lord of the Rings-y but you still want the charm and character these huts provide, then why not consider a stay in An Claddagh Fairy Hut?

The little earth-covered fairy house is nice and toasty and has a cosy double bed to cosy up in.

It’s safe to say the combination of the green grass roofs and quirky doors will have you feeling like you’re in another world!

And if that wasn’t enough, the stargazing opportunities around here are amazing too.

What guests say: “Absolute gem of a place. Book it if you get the chance. Stephen is a great friendly host. We stayed in the fairy hut which was so cute, really comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The decor is adorable and it’s very stylish. Good heat from the heaters also. Loved the personal fire area outside. The communal toilet is soooo cool and I’ll let you find out what theme it is for yourself. Everywhere was clean and tidy including the pizza oven area which is a fab idea, by the way, the shared kitchen and the hot tub area.”

Out of all the accommodation options on-site, this one is definitely the most luxurious and stylish.

And of course, it benefits from all the same facilities as the other options, including that much-sought-after hot tub.

What guests say: “Thank you Stephen for a truly memorable stay. We wanted peace and tranquillity and your place ticked those boxes. The hot tub was amazing and the pizza oven was the best-tasting pizza we had in a long time. We loved lighting the fire at our hut and made some magical family memories playing cards.
