From geodomes and shepherds huts to yurts and shipping containers, there will be a Yorkshire glamping site with your name on it.
All these places have been hand-picked for this list because they have something special, whether it’s a private wood-fired hot tub, incredible views, or a unique design.
So scroll through and get ready to pick out your perfect place to go glamping in Yorkshire!
1. The Box BNB
Price per night: From £138 for 2 people
Location: High Marishes, nr Malton
The Box BNB firmly deserves its spot at the top of this list.
The lovely owners of this glamping site have beautifully renovated three old shipping containers into the most high-end boutique accommodation.
There are three ‘boxes’ on-site (Rabbit, Duck, and Pig) which all benefit from the same fabulous amenities.
From a Nespresso machine to high-speed Wi-Fi to a projector to stream your favourite films, the cabins are all thoughtfully kitted out.
One of my favourite things about the cabins, though, is their floor-to-ceiling windows that maximise both light and wildlife-spotting opportunities!
Although they’re designed with couples in mind, there’s a double sofa bed and room for a travel cot, too.
What guests say: “This place is such a little hidden gem. It is pure luxury in a box! Had everything I needed to ensure a comfortable stay. The coffee machine, hot chocolate and tea provided were very welcome! The sunrise was spectacular as the views are amazing, a definite highlight is the floor-to-ceiling windows.”
2. Yurtshire
Price per night: From £150 for 4 people
Location: Aldfield, nr Ripon
Yurtshire is home to some of the most beautiful yurts I’ve ever laid my eyes on!
One look at these yurts and I’m sure you’ll fall just as hopelessly in love with them as I have.
The site is split into two parts: the six Fountains yurts which are situated in a meadow, and the nine extra-luxurious yurts at Eavestone Lake.
Every single yurt is beautifully decorated and they all benefit from the added luxury of a private hot tub.
The highlight of Yurtshire, though, is the Spa and Wellness yurt, which they call ‘a sanctuary of wellbeing for mind, body and soul’.
Here you can enjoy a woodland sauna, private hot tubs, and a myriad of relaxing massages and treatments.
Yurtshire is leagues above your average glamping site and I can’t encourage you to book a stay here enough.
It’s pure luxury!
What guests say: “Quite frankly an unbelievable place in a beautiful setting. The staff are very friendly and we had excellent service which included our bags being dropped off at the yurt. The yurt is very spacious and full of decorations and a log burner, and the fire pit, bathroom and hot tub were all 10/10.”
3. Haystacks Country Retreats
Price per night: From £115 for 2 people
Location: Birstwith, nr Harrogate
Situated just a stone’s throw from the gorgeous Harrogate, Haystacks Country Retreats is one of the best places to go glamping in Yorkshire for couples!
Romance truly is at the heart of this glamping site.
Not only were the handcrafted shepherds huts lovingly designed with couples in mind, but they’re even named after the couple who built the huts, Samuel and Martha.
There are so many lovely touches to discover inside, including super soft bed linen, plenty of board games, and a welcome tray filled with Yorkshire goodies and locally-sourced breakfast ingredients.
Each hut is filled with fairy lights and cosy blankets galore, too, so you’ll feel nothing but cosy here.
However, the real romance really comes in the form of a private Hikki Bohemen outdoor bathtub.
Get me in there quick!
What guests say: “A truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The cabin was finished to an exceptional standard, from the decor to the bedding, everything was luxurious and so well thought out. We were even treated to an experience of feeding the gorgeous alpacas and highland cows, which I would highly recommend.”
4. Camp Kátur Glamping
Price per night: From £100 for 4 people, and £185 for 8 people
Location: Kirklington, nr Bedale
Say hello to one of the most unusual places to stay in Yorkshire!
This is one of my favourite places to go glamping in Yorkshire thanks to the number of accommodation options on-site.
From safari tents to yurts to geodomes (these are my favourite!), Camp Kátur doesn’t skimp on variety.
You could easily spend a week here just trying out all the many accommodation options, with many benefitting from a wood-fired hot tub, too.
Set within the beautiful 250-acre Camp Hill Manor Estate, Camp Kátur is more than just a glamping holiday, though.
It’s truly the home of outdoor adventure!
The site is full of activities, from bushcraft courses to wellness retreats, ready to entertain you for hours.
What guests say: “We stayed in the Aurora Geodome which is the furthest away from the car park and we couldn’t be happier with the location! It was so secluded, peaceful & simply magical. The staff are the nicest people ever and made us feel so welcome! The pizza kits/oven were a nice touch and we loved exploring the grounds and playing on the swings/zip wire (yes we were like two kids!).”
5. Uppergate Farm
Price per night: From £100 for 2 people
Location: Hepworth, nr Holmfirth
Uppergate Farm is home to two yurts and one shepherds hut, as well as a handful of cottages and apartments for those looking for more traditional accommodation.
There’s no chance of getting bored at this site, as there’s a superb heated indoor swimming pool and sauna available for all guests to use!
However, don’t worry because although the farm is packed full with accommodation and things to do, you’ll still feel completely secluded.
To maximise privacy, the charming yurts and shepherds hut are all set in seclusion among ten acres of woodland.
All benefit from modern comforts, too, like king-size beds and private hot tubs, so you’ll be in no shortage of luxuries here!
What guests say: “We stayed in the Maythorn Yurt for a weekend for our wedding anniversary and it was absolutely faultless! The yurt itself was beautiful with nice little touches such as robes and slippers. The farm was so peaceful and the surrounding area is lovely, and the hot tub was really relaxing, we didn’t want to get out!”
6. Peaks and Pods
Price per night: From £95 for 2 adults and 2 children
Location: Rathmell, nr Settle
Glamping pods are the name and the game at Peaks and Pods.
I’ve stayed in my fair share of glamping pods over the years and very few are as special as those of Peaks and Pods!
In a subtle nod to the days they bottled their own milk on their farm, they group their pods as ‘Green Top’, ‘Silver Top’, and ‘Gold Top’.
Their Silver Top pods are the cheapest and simplest but even then, they’re still luxurious with their luxury bedding, Smart TVs, and other great mod-cons.
Next up, are the Green Top pods that come with private hot tubs, too!
And finally, the cream of the crop are the Gold Top Pods which benefit from private hot tubs and all kinds of added luxuries.
All their pods enjoy uninterrupted countryside views so you’re in for a treat whichever you book a stay in!
What guests say: “Everything about Peaks and Pods was just wonderful. The pod was immaculate and suitably equipped (the lemon cake was gorgeous and a thoughtful touch). We loved the hot tub and fire pit, and booking the pizza oven for our first night was a huge highlight.”
7. Wensleydale Experience Yurts
Price per night: From £118 for 2 people, £136 for 3 people, £154 for 4 people, and £172 for 5 people
Location: Swinithwaite, nr Leyburn
Raised on decks with unparalleled views across the Dales, Wensleydale Experience is perfect for those who love nothing more than waking up to an amazing view.
Whether you enjoy the sunset from your private hot tub or outdoor dining table, these luxurious yurts help you experience Wensleydale in all its glory!
Set on a farm, this glamping site not only plays host to guests but to a number of animals too.
From pigs and goats to cows and llamas, their farm tours are great for kids and the young at heart.
There are six different yurts to choose from (Larch, Elder, Rowan, Hazel, Oak, and Beech), each with its own unique merits.
You can also choose from a number of add-ons to make your stay even more special.
From a Reiki session or head massage to food boxes, flowers and chocolates, this glamping site goes that extra mile to make your stay a great one!
What guests say: “We had such a lovely time this weekend. It’s our second stay here and could not recommend it enough. Tim and Steph are so helpful and accommodating. They are a credit to the site. The yurts are stunning, as are the hot tubs. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.”
8. Hollow Gill Huts
Price per night: From £75 for 2 adults and 2 children
Location: Rathmell, nr Settle
With an enviable position in the Yorkshire Dales, Hollow Gill Huts has three shepherds huts and some unparalleled countryside views.
The Swaledale Hut and The Wensleydale Hut sleep two adults and two children, while The Dalesbred Hut sleeps two adults only.
All three huts are beautifully appointed and decorated and comprise a kitchen, log burner, and luxury en-suite.
However, my favourite thing about the huts is their extremely comfy double bed chambers that have a good night’s sleep written all over them.
Top tip: add some special extras to make your stay even better!
From breakfast boxes to celebration packages, Emma and Pete do their utmost to make your stay a special one.
What guests say: “Beautiful huts with just as beautiful views! We also had wild dear running in the field outside our hut! Emma went above and beyond from the first point of contact! If you are looking for that little something different, this is the place for you, you won’t be disappointed!”
9. Jollydays Glamping
Price per night: From £93 for 4 people and £134 for 6 people
Location: Stamford Bridge, nr York
You’re sure to feel more than just a bit jolly after a stay at Jollydays Glamping!
A glamping experience like no further, Jollydays Glamping provides more than just gorgeous glamping accommodation.
All the way back in 2008, Christian and Carolyn Van Outersterp pioneered the way for the UK glamping scene by founding Jollydays.
Their camp is home to everything from a woodland kitchen and bar to a tea tent, log store and shop.
Even better yet, you can also hire one of their stunning wood-fired hot tubs!
As for the accommodation itself, they’ve got a great selection of luxury bothies and huts for you to stay in.
What guests say: “We had an absolutely amazing time at Jollydays for my friend’s hen do – all 30 guests commented on how amazing the site was and how impressed they were with how beautiful the bothies were with comfy beds and big baths. The new bathhouse is amazing too, it’s absolutely stunning with big mirrors too!”
10. Stonebeck Gate Farm
Price per night: From £115 for 2 people
Location: Fryup, nr Whitby
If you’re not already daydreaming about soaking in that outdoor tub, we are not the same person!
Situated in the heart of the North York Moors, Stonebeck Gate Farm is home to three stunning shepherds huts that provide ample stargazing, BBQ, and long walk opportunities.
Each hut is hidden away in an isolated pocket of the remote farm to enjoy complete privacy and tranquillity.
Inside, the huts are ridiculously cosy with sumptuous king-size beds just begging to be dived into!
However, of course, the highlight of these huts is their wood-fired hot tubs that were made with starlit soaks in mind.
What guests say: “We had a fantastic stay. It was wonderfully secluded and peaceful with stunning views. The bed was super comfortable and the kids enjoyed sleeping in the den underneath us. We really enjoyed the breakfast hamper and trying out the pizza oven. We had a lovely walk up the valley straight from the door.”
11. Waingates Farm Huts
Price per night: From £135 for 2 people
Location: Roecliffe, nr Boroughbridge
Clean and quaint, Waingates Farm Huts take charm to a whole new level!
Waingates is home to five pretty huts, each with wood-fired hot tubs.
My favourite huts of theirs are Peddero and Tayter.
A first for the UK glamping market, these spacious and luxurious huts were inspired by igloos and made using beautiful traditional wood shingles.
Not only are the huts gorgeous, but they’re also set in some pretty incredible surroundings.
Located on the family-run Roecliffe Estate, there are plenty of wonderful walks to enjoy without even leaving the estate.
The site is also a stone’s throw from the Staveley Nature Reserve, a superb wetland site that borders the estate.
What guests say: “Just stayed in Tayter and we had the most amazing trip. The hut is very well designed and spacious with the most beautiful views. Matthew and his family are so friendly and always on hand to help. We really appreciated the small touches including the hot tub being full and ready to lite for as soon as we got there.”
12. Starlight Hideaway
Price per night: From £140 for 2 people
Location: Skeffling, nr Hull
Starlight Hideaway is the perfect little romantic hideaway (sorry, I had to!) for two.
With twinkling fairy lights, a wood-fired hot tub, and a double bed under a glass skylight, this bespoke, handmade shepherd’s hut just exudes romance.
Whether you stargaze from the comfort of your bed or from the tub outside, you’ll have a super special stay here.
As soon as you arrive, you’ll be treated to a generous welcome pack!
However, if you fancy upgrading your stay, you can purchase one of their hideaway hampers.
From a breakfast hamper to a romance hamper to a fire pit hamper, the lovely pair behind Starlight Hideaway is always looking for ways to make your stay even better!
What guests say: “It couldn’t have been more perfect. Total escapism and pure magic! You can tell Emma and Dan have put their heart and soul into making this a really special experience for everyone who stays. The warm welcome, thoughtful and delicious hamper and little touches throughout the hut instantly make you feel calm and content.”
13. High Oaks Grange
Price per night: From £75 for 2 people and £95 for 4 people
Location: Pickering, nr Malton
Situated in the picturesque Vale of Pickering, High Oaks Grange has three gorgeous glamping pods, one sleeping two, and two sleeping four.
So whether you’re planning a family getaway or a romantic break, these glamping pods have got your back.
Each comes with all kinds of luxuries, including Smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and modern en-suites and kitchenettes.
They pack so much into a small space without the pods feeling too crammed, so you’ll be left wanting for nothing!
And with some of Yorkshire’s best scenery right on your doorstep, there’s nothing not to love about High Oaks Grange.
What guests say: “When we arrived the pod was absolutely immaculate. The space is well thought out and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s a decked patio with chairs and a table outside lovely to sit outside in the evenings. We can’t wait to visit again.”
14. Catgill Farm Glamping
Price per night: From £165 for 2 people
Location: Bolton Abbey, nr Skipton
If you’re stuck on what kind of glamping holiday you fancy, Catgill Farm has both timber pods and bell tents for you to choose from!
The former provides a little more luxury whereas the latter is ideal for those who want to get back to nature a little more.
Both accommodation types come complete with all the home luxuries you’d expect from a glamping holiday.
This includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hot tub with a private patio, Wi-Fi, electric and USB sockets, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a Smart TV.
Set in an idyllic location with spectacular views across the Wharfe Valley, Catgill Farm’s location is also second to none.
The farm is close to Bolton Abbey, making it the ideal base for either an action-packed holiday in the Dales or a tranquil and relaxing break.
What guests say: “All the staff were so friendly and the pod was immaculate and so beautifully done up inside. The hot tub was already hot upon arriving and we were greeted with a complimentary local gin with Fever Tree tonics! The outdoor pizza oven is great and there’s a coffee machine so you can enjoy a lovely morning coffee with a stunning view.”
15. Ribblesdale Pods
Price per night: From £130 for 2 people
Location: Horton in Ribbersdale, nr Settle
Perfectly positioned in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Ribblesdale Pods is home to nine luxurious pods, each with its own private hot tub.
Each pod is well-appointed with everything you could need, including a comfy double bed, kitchenette, en-suite, underfloor heating, a TV, and Wi-Fi.
Admittedly, these pods aren’t the most secluded, as they’re all situated mere meters from each other.
It is, however, one of the most dog-friendly places to go glamping in Yorkshire as every single pod allows your furry friends to join you.
The perfect place to bring your pup and head to the hills!
What guests say: “If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts have thought about everything you would need even robes. Cannot fault it in any way. Very well-looked-after. The pods are clean and tidy with every amenity you could ask for.”
16. Holmebeck Shepherd’s Hut
Price per night: From £97 for 2 people
Location: Ravensworth, nr Richmond
Perfectly placed in a peaceful pocket of Yorkshire countryside, Holmebeck Shepherd’s Hut is an affordable romantic retreat for two.
It’s furnished with a double bed, two comfortable armchairs, a kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and a modern en-suite bathroom.
Expect a breakfast hamper filled with goodies on your arrival, as well as plenty of other personal touches that will make your stay extra special.
The cherry on top of an already tasty cake is the private wood-fired hot tub with a view!
(I think you can now see why this is one of my favourite places to go glamping with a hot tub in Yorkshire.)
What guests say: “Everything was absolutely perfect! The owners have thought of literally everything! It is set in a beautiful and peaceful location, with some lovely walks around. The hut itself is so spacious! There were even two dressing gowns, board games, a lovely breakfast hamper, and a little treat bag for our dog!”
17. Kip and Nook
Price per night: From £225 for 2 people
Location: Darlington
Kip and Nook‘s cabins are nothing short of perfection.
And I don’t use that word lightly!
From the Baby Bro to the OG Container to The Cabin, there’s a cabin at Kip and Nook for everyone.
All their cabins are so luxurious and beautifully designed that they’ll leave you speechless as soon as you step foot through the front door.
Anticipate king-size beds with skylights and wood-burning hot tubs aplenty!
To make your stay even more special (as if that was possible), they offer all sorts of extras from Thai nights and homemade pizza to yoga and outdoor activities.
Book a stay here and thank me later – you won’t regret it!
What guests say: “Hands down the most peaceful and beautiful place we have ever stayed. It honestly felt like a little slice of heaven sitting out on the bean bags and looking at the gorgeous fields! The hot tub was amazing, the bed was super comfy, and the whole vibe of the place was just lush.”
18. Pinewood Park
Price per night: From £105 for 2 adults and 2 children
Location: Scarborough
Pinewood Park is home to loads of different accommodation options.
From tipis, pods, and wagons, to lodges with hot tubs and even converted helicopters, there’s something for everyone here.
The most unique of their options is, of course, the Sea King rescue helicopters which are the first of their kind in the UK!
Steeped in history, one of the helicopters was used in the Falkland Islands, while the other was flown by Prince William himself.
Both helicopters are surprisingly spacious, so much fun, and an experience you won’t forget anytime soon!
Alternatively, if you’re looking for a more romantic break, look no further than the many cabins, lodges and tipis at Pinewood Park that come with a private hot tub.
Surrounded by twinkling fairy lights, they are nothing short of romantic!
What guests say: “Our home from home! We’ve just arrived home from our eighth break. I’m not sure I have any words that I could use to describe what a lovely place this is! Every lodge we’ve stayed in has been built with absolute love and care. The owners are two of the nicest people we’ve ever met, too.”
19. Limekilns Shepherd’s Hut
Price per night: From £145 for 2 people
Location: Barton, nr Darlington
Set beside the most idyllic duck pond, Limekilns Shepherd’s Hut is a little slice of paradise.
It’s one of the most romantic places to go glamping in Yorkshire, thanks to its setting, its Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub, and all its other luxuries!
The inside of the hut is immaculately appointed with the cosiest double bed, a beautiful fully-fitted kitchen, and a spacious and modern en-suite bathroom.
There’s no chance of getting bored here, either, as your hosts have stocked the hut full of books, board games, cards, a TV, a retro radio, and an outdoor Bluetooth speaker.
And outside, the story is much the same!
As well as a private hot tub, the hut has plenty of outdoor seating and dining spaces, a fire pit, and a wooden gazebo furnished with a double sun lounger.
What guests say: “What a fabulous stay we just had. The place is magical – secluded, surrounded by nature. The little touches like the fairy lights, the welcome card and the anniversary bunting. We slept so well, the comfiest bed ever. It really was lovely and we hope to book another stay soon.”
20. West Hale Gate Glamping
Price per night: From £104 for 2 people
Location: Burton Fleming, nr Bridlington
Next up, we have West Hale Gate Glamping whose shepherds huts are immaculately appointed.
My favourite thing about them is that, unlike many shepherds huts, they have wide opening doors allowing for plenty of light and fresh air to flood its way into the hut.
But with their own log-burning stoves, they still feel cosy, warm and inviting!
Each hut has a double bed, a comfortable sofa, a dining area, and a bespoke handcrafted kitchen.
However, what sets the lovely people behind West Hale apart from other glamping sites is their willingness to go the extra mile for their guests.
And that is shown by the homemade cake and bottle of fizz that awaits your arrival.
Adding an even greater touch of luxury is the Lambing Shed, a large and airy rustic kitchen diner for guests to use.
They stock this gorgeous space daily with an inclusive continental breakfast (this place might as well be a hotel!) but it has everything you could need to knock up a full English, too.
What guests say: “This was our first time glamping so we didn’t really know what to expect but this gorgeous little place exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Blue Texel, which had lots of cute little home comforts and little touches… so warm, comfy and cosy. We loved it in the hot tub, fire pit etc.”
21. Little Seed Field
Price per night: From £85 for 4 people
Location: Dallow, nr Ripon
For one of the more unique glamping holidays in Yorkshire, look no further than Little Seed Field.
Their seven unique and deceptively spacious octagonal cabins are set in over seven acres of land in the Nidderdale AONB.
On your doorstep, you’ll find countless ponds, ancient woodland, and miles of walking and cycling routes, so there’s no chance of getting bored here.
However, once you’ve stepped foot inside your cabin, I can guarantee you won’t want to leave!
Each cabin is simple but well-equipped, containing a double bed, a bunk bed, a log stove, and a table and benches, with a further dining area, fire pit, and BBQ outside.
Some of their cabins benefit from an en-suite inside the hut, while others have a separate bathroom approximately 30 metres away, so pick wisely!
What guests say: “What can we say? My husband and I had the best experience here. The cabin was beautiful and cosy. All facilities were at hand. It was very clean and tidy. The views are magnificent along with the peace and quiet. Just perfect for our weekend away.”
22. Humble Bee Farm
Price per night: From £120 for 2 adults and 2 children, and £185 for 6 people
Location: Flixton, nr Scarborough
There’s nothing humble about Humble Bee Farm.
The lovely family behind Humble Bee Farm want nothing more than to help you create treasured memories while being close to nature, and that’s why they’ve created their fantastic glamping accommodation in Yorkshire.
From bell tents and yurts to premium lodges with hot tubs, there’s something to suit every taste and budget at Humble Bee Farm.
My favourite of their accommodation options are, unsurprisingly, their lodges because who doesn’t love a hot tub, right?!
Immaculately appointed, each lodge sleeps up to six people and has a full kitchen and dining area, and a modern en-suite.
The farm is also just a stone’s throw from the coast, so it’s in a great location for the water babies and beach bums!
What guests say: “This was our fourth time at Humble Bee and yet again, it was amazing. It never disappoints. The site is spotless and there is plenty to do to entertain children. The food is amazing and the new hot tubs are a fantastic addition. I can’t say enough about how good it is here.”
23. Baxby Manor
Price per night: From £50 for 2 people, and £65 for 2 adults and 2 children
Location: Husthwaite, nr York
Lord of the Rings fans, listen up because I might have just found your new favourite place to go glamping in Yorkshire.
Baxby Manor is home to the cutest little hobbit holes – fit for only the finest of Baggins!
However, if staying in Middle Earth isn’t your idea of a good time, don’t worry because Baxby Manor has all sorts of other accommodation, including one of my favourite treehouses in Yorkshire.
They’ve also recently built the most beautiful Kabinas that benefit from all sorts of luxuries, including sunken hot tubs.
They’re nothing short of dreamy!
Alternatively, on the other end of the scale, their glamping pods are simpler and more budget-friendly.
Wherever you stay at Baxby Manor, you’re sure to embark on the adventure of a lifetime!
What guests say: “Cannot recommend this place more highly. The Hobbit house was just lovely and a really special treat for the kids. Spacious, comfortable and had lots of essentials so you didn’t have to bring much. The whole site was immaculate, the toilets/showers the best I’ve ever seen
24. Morndyke Shepherds Huts

Inside each hut, you’ll find comfy beds, a mini kitchen, an armchair, table and stools, a TV, a wood-burning stove, and a luxury en-suite bathroom.
They also lovingly stock the huts with books and board games ready to entertain the whole family.
I also love that each of the huts is named after their rescued sheep past and present – how cute is that?!
What guests say: “A fabulous weekend. The owners have thought about everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely touches such as nice freshly made scones with butter and jam and a nice bottle of wine to welcome you. Weather was nice for us so we managed to have a BBQ on both nights.”
25. Kingfisher Lakes Glamping
Price per night: From £98 for 4 people, £120 for 6 people, and £190 for 10 people
Location: Burshill, nr Beverley
Kingfisher Lakes Glamping is the best place to go glamping in Yorkshire for a big group of people!
The site is home to a great selection of glamping options, including safari tents, yurts, and bell tents.
And some even have wood-fired hot tubs!
My favourite of their accommodation options is their safari tents which sleep anywhere between four and ten people.
The largest of their safari tents is the Dragonfly Dreams Safari Lodge which is so spacious that it doesn’t actually feel like a tent at all.
More akin to a lodge, it comprises a spacious open-plan living area and three bedrooms separated by wooden walls, with your bathroom just a short walk away!
What guests say: “Wow… this place is amazing. From start to finish, we had the best weekend away. Willow was beautiful, cosy, warm and had all the essentials you would need. The wood-fired hot tub was warmed for when we arrived, and the swans were out swimming on the lake. It was so peaceful and beautiful.”
26. Skipbridge Farm Glamping
Price per night: From £80 for 2 people and £110 for 5 people
Location: Green Hammerton, nr York
Based in the heart of North Yorkshire, Skipbridge Farm Glamping is home to two bell tents and three pods.
My favourite of their glamping options is the deluxe pod with a Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub.
It’s a little more expensive at £120 a night for two people but it’s well worth every penny!
For this price, you get a double bed, a wood-burning stove, and a simple living and dining area.
It’s a little more basic than a lot of other options on this list but this doesn’t make it any less special!
Outside, you also get a fire pit and BBQ so you can cook and dine al fresco and toast marshmallows under Yorkshire’s clear night skies.
What guests say: “What an AMAZING stay we had in the Railway Cottage on the farm! Met with the animals every morning right outside our door! It was lovely to wake up and start the fire. We enjoyed quiet relaxing nights in the hot tub under the stars.”
27. Incline View Holidays
Price per night: From £130 for 2 people
Location: Ingleby Greenhow, nr Stokesley
With a name like Incline View Holidays, it should come as no surprise that these shepherds huts enjoy from some pretty spectacular views.
And that they do!
However, there are many more reasons to stay here than just the views.
All three huts have a private bubbly hot tub, as well as a BBQ and ample outdoor seating from which you can enjoy the views.
Inside, the story is much the same!
Anticipate a beautiful and well-appointed hut, with the cosiest bed nook, divided from the living area with a curtain.
Highly romantic and well-thought-out, I’m sure you’re going to love these huts just as much as I do.
What guests say: “One of the best places we have stayed! Loved everything about our hut. The place is gorgeous. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and so thoughtful, and the place was spotless. It was so amazing we actually extended our stay!”
28. Mowbray Glamping Pods
Price per night: From £129 for 4 people
Location: South Kilvington, nr Thirsk
Mowbray Glamping Pods come with huge private bubbling hot tubs.
Need I say more?!
There are four pods to choose from and they’re all fabulous!
Akin to a Tardis, they’re surprisingly spacious, housing a double bed, bunk bed, kitchen, living and dining area, TV, and a luxury en-suite.
Outside, the story is very similar, with a hot tub, picnic table, and dining area where you can dine al fresco to your heart’s content.
Perfect for families with two young kids, these glamping pods are the stuff of dreams!
What guests say: “Lucie and Paul were just the perfect hosts. Our stay way exceeded our expectations. Our little boys fell in love with the two horses, Poet and Hetty, and loved feeding them each day. The pod itself was nothing short of amazing. Lucy and Paul have thought of everything and the pod is designed to a high spec.”
29. High House Retreat

Location: Cleasby, nr Darlington
High House Retreat is an absolute gem!
Beautifully renovated and designed with bespoke furniture, this open-plan shipping container contains a kitchenette, a living area with a wood burner, a double bed, and a huge bathroom.
You can expect all sorts of luxuries and treats on your arrival, including fresh bread and eggs from the farm and some lovely baked goodies, too.

Alternatively, they also have a smaller shepherds hut on-site which also has a wood-fired hot tub.
What guests say: “Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. This was our second time and we couldn’t ask for a more relaxing place to stay. Rob and Katie are the perfect hosts, for my birthday they even left a bottle of wine for us. We’ll 100% be back again in the future and I’d recommend High House Retreat to anyone.”
30. Sedgewell Barn Wigwams

If you want to stay somewhere cosy, Sedgewell Barn is the place to be!
Tucked away in a secluded and quiet part of a farm, each of Sedgewell Barn’s wigwams has all the amenities you need for a self-contained, self-catering stay.
They all sleep up to four people, making them a great option for families looking to get away – glamping isn’t just for couples, after all!
The site is very family-friendly, too.
Situated in a grass paddock, the play area is in eyesight of the wigwams, plus there’s plenty of open space for the little’uns to run wild, too.
To make things even better, four of the six wigwams come with outdoor bubbly hot tubs.
So if you want a more luxurious glamping experience, make sure you book a wigwam with one!
My favourite thing about the hot tubs is that they each offer complete privacy and protection from the elements thanks to a stylish timber canopy.
What guests say: “I will definitely be returning! The pod we stayed in was immaculate and the mattress we stayed on was super comfortable. Outside our pod, there was plenty of green grass and it was lovely looking at a field full of sheep and little lambs. The hot tub was also immaculate. The perfect peaceful little break.”
31. Grey Hart Lodge
Price per night: From £115 for 4 people
Location: Seamer, nr Scarborough
Last but by no means least, we have Grey Hart Lodge, a surprisingly spacious tiny house that’s just dripping in romance.
From the king-size mezzanine bedroom to the wood-fired hot tub, there are countless romantic touches around the lodge.
The tiny house is also full of modern amenities, like a Smart TV, a fully-fitted kitchen, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom.
Outside, in the private south-facing garden, you’ll also find a fire pit, BBQ, and seating area, so you can cook up a storm and dine al fresco as the sun sets.
S’mores, anyone?!
What guests say: “Rating this 5/5 didn’t feel fair as it should have been so, so much more! We arrived to a gorgeous welcome pack including crisps and wine! The home itself is absolutely stunning and the outside private garden is gorgeous – at night, it became even better and magical is the only way we could describe it!”
