When it comes to my priorities in life and what I choose to spend my money on, travel is my number one. Being frugal is second nature to me – it might as well be my middle name. I’ll often be the one to say to my friends “sorry I can’t afford that” when I am asked if I wanna go for a night out or out for a meal.
Okay so I’ve never properly travelled the world. I’ve never had a spiritual Gap Yah experience. I love travel but, to be honest, I haven’t done that much of it. I’m not going to tell you that you’ll find yourself abroad – but if you have then good for you! However, that isn’t to say that I don’t learn anything from my travels.
I love investing in travel accessories: items which make travelling just that lil’ bit easier and a lil’ less stressful. ‘Cause despite what Instagram leads us to believe, travel can actually be a source of stress. Yes, it’s a very privileged stress, but stress nonetheless. When it comes to travel must-haves I’d much prefer to invest in things that will actually last a long time, rather than throwaway pieces.
