Whether you’re looking for a plush and stylish experience or a unique blend of vintage charm and modern amenities, the capital has something for everyone.

From cosy cinemas with velvet seating and chic bars to grand, historic buildings with old-world glamour, you’ll find it all here.

So grab a drink, get comfy, and take note of some of the finest London luxury cinemas!

1. Charlotte Street Hotel

charlotte-street-hotel-screening-room-firmdale-hotels

Address: 15-17 Charlotte St., London W1T 1RJ

Phone number: 020 7806 2000

Price per ticket: From £25

What’s more luxurious than a cinema in a 5-star hotel?

In typical exclusive fashion, The Charlotte Street Hotel alludes to seeing a film at their cinema as part of a ‘Film Club’.

However, don’t worry because it’s a ‘Club’ in name only!

The cinema, located on the lower ground of the hotel, is open to the public and shows cult classics as well as new releases.

Purchase a single ticket or (as I’d recommend) go all out and make the most of feeling like one of the hotel’s prestigious guests – without the £600 room booking!

Have a glass of champagne and enjoy either a three-course menu or afternoon tea at their vibrant and beautifully decorated Oscar Restaurant.

Once you’ve had your fill of fine dining, take a seat and relax in the Poltona Frau orange leather seats (try not to fall asleep) and enjoy the film.

2. Genesis Cinema

red-seats-in-genesis-cinema-luxury-london-cinemas

Address: 93-95 Mile End Rd, Bethnal Green, London E1 4UJ

Phone number: 020 7780 2000

Price per ticket: From £10.50

Genesis Cinema is a must-visit if you’re looking to experience luxury in a beautiful 19th-century building!

Screening a mix of special events and regular programming, there’s always something new and exciting to see.

Their screening rooms are the perfect size for an intimate and relaxed viewing experience.

You can sink into one of the comfy sofas or armchairs, complete with cosy blankets and Ottoman footstools, and settle in for a night of cinematic magic.

The best part?

Ticket prices start at just £10.50, so you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy this luxury cinema experience.

Save that precious money for one of their delicious cocktails at the in-screen bar.

So what are you waiting for?

Book your tickets now and get ready for a movie night like no other at one of the best luxury London cinemas!

3. The Lexi Cinema

Address: 194b Chamberlayne Rd, London NW10 3JU

Phone number: 020 3011 5523

Price per ticket: From £7

One of my favourite luxury London cinemas, The Lexi Cinema is a real find in the heart of London.

This indie cinema is run by volunteers who are passionate about giving back, not just to the local community, but to a special charity project in South Africa.

Aside from the hard-to-miss “I AM A CINEMA. LOVE ME.” plastered across the front of the building, you might not think twice about this understated cinema.

But you’re sure to be impressed by its beautiful interior!

With cosy seats and a sleek modern design, opt for a film that’s showing on Screen 2 for a more intimate and stylish movie-watching experience.

By choosing to spend an evening at the Lexi, you’re not just having a good time, you’re also doing good.

It’s a place where entertainment meets altruism, and you won’t want to miss it.

4. Backyard Cinema

Films in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall is a cinematic experience like no other.

Choose to take your cinematic experience to the next level, surrounded by the spectacular features of the Royal Albert Hall – you can even book one of the Royal boxes!

But you’d be a fool for thinking pressing play on the projector is enough.

Host to the famous Proms music festival, you’ll be experiencing cinema’s most iconic films with the music performed by a live orchestra.

So, sit back, put your feet up and enjoy viewing a film in one of Britain’s greatest Victorian splendours.

The Royal Albert Hall sure takes ‘luxury London cinemas’ to a whole new level!

The cinema is made up of two theatres and housed in the historic building of the Olympic Recording Studios in Barnes, away from the crowded streets of central London.

This way you don’t have to worry about quickly finishing that bottle of wine you bought or knocking over a full cup of coffee.

The cinema’s sleek and stylish cafe is the perfect place to catch up with friends before or after the movie.

With its charming setting and an unparalleled combination of comfort, quality, and convenience, the Olympic Cinema is the perfect place to escape the rush of the city.

Prepare to be transported to the world of the movies!

The Cinema in the Arches is a hidden gem tucked away near the brand-new Battersea Power Station.

The cinema has three screens and each one has its own separate entrance to help keep the original arches intact.

These separate entrances help create a feeling of exclusivity as if you’re experiencing a private film viewing.

This intimate setting is enhanced by the limited seating and cosy atmosphere.

And don’t worry about the sound of trains overhead!

The soundproofing is excellent so you’ll be fully immersed in your movie.

Dating back to 1913, Screen on the Green has been providing movie-goers with a unique and sophisticated experience for over a century.

In 2008, the cinema was purchased by the Everyman chain and renamed Everyman Screen on the Green, solidifying its place as one of the country’s premier movie destinations.

With a mix of standard and premier seats, movie-goers can choose their preferred level of comfort.

But it’s the premier seats, with their luxurious sofas and footrests, that steal the show.

These seats allow you to sink into comfort and fully immerse yourself in the film.

And with waiters on hand to serve you a range of delicious snacks, pizzas, and sharing platters, you won’t have to leave your seat for anything.
