Pinterest for Travel Bloggers: How to Skyrocket Your Traffic

Over the last few days, I have been working tirelessly on my latest free eBook Pinterest for Travel Bloggers which I am now stupidly excited to share with you today. Below you can read an extract from the eBook which details exactly why I think Pinterest is so awesome and how much it has increased my blog traffic over the past few months. If you just want to dive straight into the eBook (and who could blame you?!), just click the button below to download it for free. Enjoy 🙂

An Introduction (A.k.a. Why I’m So Passionate About Pinterest)

“Passionate” is a low-key way of saying “obsessed”. Guys, I am freakin’ obsessed with Pinterest. I may as well have “I ❤️ Pinterest” tattooed on my forehead. And less than 3 months ago I didn’t even use it. Oh, little naive, Lucy…

Before I share my Pinterest secrets with you, let me get one thing straight. Pinterest is a search engine, not a social media platform. People are increasingly using Pinterest as a search tool, just like they would use Google to search for information. You don’t use Pinterest to chat to your friends so it’s not a social network.

See, content on Pinterest has staying power. Unlike Twitter and Facebook, the content you pin will be around and discoverable forever and ever to infinity and beyond. This means that the more you pin, the more your blog traffic should exponentially grow over time (if the content you are sharing is evergreen!).

Only recently have I learnt that Pinterest is one of the most underutilised, yet effective marketing tools out there right now. And not enough people are using it to grow their blog! But since you’re reading this, you’re probably ready to learn. Which is awesome! Go you.

So, let’s get down to the details: since starting to use Pinterest in March, 2 months ago, my page views have sextupled. Yes, they’ve increased so much that you probably don’t even know what that means and no, it has nothing to do with sex. My page views increased by 6 times within 1 month, and they’re only continuing to grow now. Oh, and did I mention that over 80% of my traffic comes from Pinterest? That’s kinda mad, right?!

I know these stats aren’t huge or wildly impressive by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m proud of my increase in page views regardless. And they’re only going to go up!

If you’re still reading you’re probably interested in how the hell I have done this within the space of a month. Well, that’s pretty nifty ’cause you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to be showing you how to skyrocket your blog traffic, craft the perfect profile, easily create beautiful pins, grow your Pinterest following and automate your pinning. I also touch upon the importance of SEO and how you cannot succeed on Pinterest without it. Click below to download my free eBook “Pinterest For Travel Bloggers”…

I freakin’ love Pinterest lately and got totally sucked by the awesome graphics (and depressed since I am a total loser when it comes to creating anything art related). The ebook is already in my mail and can’t wait to read it!
