Brighton is one of my favourite cities in the whole of the UK.
It’s colourful, it’s vibrant, and it’s just so much fun!
I’ve spent many a day whiling away hours by strolling through the Laines and tucking into fish and chips on the beach.
However, one of the best things about Brighton is that it has plenty of rooftop bars, which all have fab views!

No 32 is one of Brighton’s most relaxed and stylish restaurants.
Given its appearance on this list, it should also come as no surprise that it has a fantastic roof terrace, too.
It can be found in the iconic Laines, and it also doubles up as a bar and a club!
We love a multi-purpose venue.
It’s housed in what was once a theatre, which has been transformed into a light, elegant space that features a piano and regularly has live jazz music playing for its guests to enjoy.
It’s an incredibly classy space, but it’s far from being pretentious.
In fact, it’s the perfect spot for a casual drink in an upscale venue, so if that’s what you’re after, head over here.

2. Ollie’s Jerk Shack & Cocktails

It’s a true hidden gem, and you’d be a fool to miss out on this one, especially as it has a fantastic outdoor space for you to chill out in.

If you’re looking for unbeatable views of the seafront and the Grand Pier, then the outdoor terrace at Patterns is one of the best rooftop bars in Brighton for you.
Patterns is a safe space for Brighton’s underground club culture, and it functions as a grassroots live music venue that has become a firm favourite over the years.
It’s super colourful and fun, which is exactly what I would expect of one of Brighton’s foremost bars!
They also have a club that’s spread across their ground floor and their basement, so be sure to check that out if you’re out for a late one.
They serve pizza by Cutting Shapes Pizza, and it’s proper delicious.

4. Grand Central

Grand Central is the place to be if you want real ale and pub grub.
Luckily for us, it also has a gorgeous rooftop terrace which you’re sure to love!
They have regular DJ nights that are always a hit with everyone who attends, so be sure to see if they’re hosting any of those any time soon.
It even has its own theatre, but the rooftop terrace is what really takes centre stage.
Located near Brighton station, this pub is perfectly situated to give you some cracking views of the sprawling city below.

It’s in the Laines, and it has what is definitely one of the best rooftop bars in Brighton!

It’s only £35 per person, so how could you say no!
Every Tuesday between 5 and 7 pm they also offer a banging happy hour, with two cocktails costing just £10.
What a steal, hey?

12. The Rooftop at Club Revenge

Club Revenge is a popular LGBTQ+ nightclub in Brighton, and they now have an equally popular rooftop bar!
Get ready to boogie, because there’s no better place for it than here.
The Rooftop is Brighton’s only LGBTQ+ rooftop bar, so you can be sure that you’ll be welcome here.
They serve up quirky cocktails, that can be enjoyed while taking in the breathtaking views of Brighton’s famous seafront.
If you’re on the rooftop at 9:30 pm on a day that Club Revenge is open, then you also get free entry to the club, which is pretty great!

13. Trading Post
