The Alice in Winterland event is particularly special.

2. Shoreditch House

If you’re after an exclusive members-only rooftop bar, then Shoreditch House will be right up your street.
It not only has a rooftop restaurant and bar, but it also has a rooftop pool, all of which are making the prospect of paying for a membership more and more appealing to me.
Who doesn’t want to hop out of a rooftop pool to then enjoy a gorgeous cocktail while looking out over London?
Sounds pretty great to me.
The poolside rooftop restaurant serves up an absolutely insane Mediterranean and Californian inspired menu which is sure to satisfy your hunger pangs.
Or, if you don’t fancy going quite all the way up, then head to the fifth-floor restaurant.
Here you can enjoy contemporary British food and amazing wood-fired pizzas.
3. The Culpeper

The Culpeper is one of the coolest spots in Shoreditch, and the rooftop is actually the reason they acquired the building in the first place.
This pub is exactly how all pubs should be, and their rooftop is the jewel in their very well decorated crown.
There’s a lush garden up there as well as a canopy cover and fire pits for the colder winter months.
What more could you want?
Well, a wonderful pub menu, of course!
Their menu stars dishes such as fish croquettes, a charcuterie board which is absolutely to die for, and a twice baked blue cheese soufflé which is the literal stuff of dreams.
Similarly, their drinks list has super tasty cocktails such as the Knickerbocker Royale.
You certainly won’t find that one anywhere else!
The Culpeper is definitely one for the bucket list.
4. Aviary

At Aviary, you can enjoy magnificent views of London from the fabulous rooftop restaurant and bar.
Aviary is situated on top of the Montcalm Hotel, and they have everything you could ever want from a rooftop spot.

Whether you want a lazy lunch or a cosy night admiring the skyline, The Boundary Rooftop Bar is perfect for every occasion.
The rooftop here is particularly special during the festive season, when you’ll see it totally transform into a magical winter wonderland.
Complete with a toasty fire pit, sheepskin rugs and heated seats to keep you feeling lovely and toasty, you can admire the views of the capital over a drink or two.

They combine their beautiful views with refreshing drinks and incredible freshly grilled food from the BBQ.

It’s a bit of a hidden gem, and it’s certain to be a winner with anyone who loves to have a drink or two on a rooftop bar as the sun sets.
They have an array of sharing platters as well as some delicious sides which include aubergine caviar, and absolute treats like their spiced swordfish sandwich.

7. The Gate

The rooftop terrace is available for private hire, and trust me when I say it would make the perfect spot for any special occasion celebration.

Additionally, they also run an incredible seasonal experiences programme which is totally worth checking out.
It features all sorts like outdoor yoga classes, delicious BBQs and wine masterclasses throughout summer, with an equally exciting programme running through the rest of the year.

The Red Lion is perfect for those who are after a really chilled out and unpretentious rooftop spot.
It’s vibey despite being more casual than a lot of rooftop bars in Shoreditch.
And the décor is minimal with faux grass and wooden picnic benches adorning the space.
Their grub is affordable, as are their drinks, which is really all you could want from any bar in London, let alone a rooftop bar!
Their diavola pizza paired with cheesy chips sounds pretty much exactly like my dream meal, so I’m tempted to visit to try those out.
I can’t think of a better place to enjoy them than on a lovely chilled rooftop!
9. The Golden Bee

The Golden Bee is one of the most stylish rooftop bars in Shoreditch, and it’s fast becoming one of the most-loved in the area too.
Their rooftop features a handy retractable canopy, meaning they can serve you all year round, rain or shine!
This bar is cool, it’s fun, and it’s exactly what you’re looking for, I’m sure of it!
The décor is super colourful which adds to the rooftop’s fun vibe too.
And the speakers that are spread out across the place play music from the live DJ set that’s taking place downstairs in the main bar.
So if you’re after a cool party vibe, this is the place for you.
10. One Hundred Shoreditch

One Hundred Shoreditch is a brand spanking new rooftop bar in Shoreditch which used to be the Ace Hotel Rooftop.
Opening in early 2022, it’s set to become one of the hottest rooftop bars on the scene, and I’m sure that you’re going to love it!
On top of the rooftop, there will six restaurants and bars throughout the hotel, so it will fast become one of the places to be in the area, no doubt about it!
One of the bars is a wine bar, which is pretty much my favourite kind of bar.
I think I’d definitely be heading there before carrying on up to the rooftop to enjoy my wine while admiring the skyline.
11. Old Fountain

Old Fountain is a craft beer pub with an award-winning real ale selection, and it just so happens to have a pretty great rooftop garden, too.
It’s a lovely green space tucked away from sight, but that just makes it all the more fabulous if you ask me.
If you want a relaxed vibe with incredible greenery and amazing ales, then Old Fountain is calling your name – don’t ignore it!
Now how about enjoying one of Shoreditch’s best roast dinners on one of its best rooftop terraces?

12. Sushisamba

Sushisamba is one of London’s most loved spots for an Instagrammable dinner, and the Liverpool Street location is the best of the bunch.
The terrace has a beautiful tree sculpture which sparkles at sunset and makes up for the fact that the views from this side of the building aren’t necessarily the most jaw dropping.
The terrace is gorgeous, and it’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink or two after dinner.
Moreover, it’s the perfect spot to go if you want a cracking shot for the ‘gram.
Plus, it’s an influencer favourite so maybe you’ll even spot a famous face or two!
Sushisamba is easily one of the most quirky places to eat in London, that’s for sure.
