Anglesey is the embodiment of natural island life, and it’s the perfect place to take some time out from the hectic nature of daily life.

From treehouses and shepherd’s huts to geodomes and tipis, here are some of our favourite places to go glamping in Anglesey.

They have six tented safari lodges on site, offering three bedroom areas with cosy beds along with a fully-equipped kitchen to cook up a storm in.

Three of the lodges also have their own private wood-fired hot tubs – what a treat!

With prices starting from just £134 for 6 people, this is a spot that you won’t want to miss.

What guests say: “We have just come back from five days at Wonderfully Wild. It was fantastic!! The location is perfect, you feel quite isolated but it’s actually not far at all to local amenities. The surrounding area is beautiful.

You’ll find the bathroom in a converted shepherd’s hut just next door.

There’s also hammocks, a wood-fired hot tub and a picnic table, so this gorgeous spot really does have everything you could possibly need for a relaxed retreat!

Unfortunately, pets aren’t allowed here, so your four-legged friends will have to stay at home!

What guests say: ” The domes are very luxurious and seem to be aimed more at the couples market than families – with nice touches like leather recliners and a wood burning stove. These make for a very relaxing evening while you wait for your wood-fired hot tub to warm up. They are extremely well appointed, with a useful kitchen, plenty of room and even storage to unpack into. The bed is comfy, and the shower is hot and powerful. This is really what “glamping” is all about!”

It’s a place where comfort meets convenience, with all the amenities you could possibly need in one of the world’s most peaceful settings.

The glamping site is on a working farm right in the heart of Anglesey, and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a base to explore the surroundings.

The luxurious timber cabins are self-contained, complete with underfloor heating and Bluetooth speakers for a well-rounded stay.

Stick your favourite tunes on and unwind as the sun goes down outside your lovely little cabin.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay in the heart of nature, there’s truly nowhere better than this.

Come prepared to see plenty of farm animals – they’ll be sure to pop by and say hello!

What guests say: “Just had the best few days at Pods Pwll Coch… perfect tranquil setting, amazing accommodation, loved the hot tub. We have loved every minute. Thank you, we will definitely be back – apparently for longer, as instructed by the kids, who didn’t want to leave.”

Price per night: From £86 for 2 people

Location: Llanfaethlu, nr Church Bay

Bea’s Hut is one of Anglesey’s best spots for unwinding.

It’s a cute little hut with a wood-fired hot tub, and it makes for the perfect romantic getaway for couples on Anglesey.

The hut is located within walking distance of two gorgeous beaches, and it offers truly stunning views across the countryside, all the way to the sea.

It’s modelled on an age-old design but incorporates all the comforts of modern life, including a log burner to keep you warm in winter.

The hot tub can be used for an additional £50 per stay, and let me tell you, it’s well worth the extra cash – it’s a real treat!

Sit back on the patio area with your favourite tipple, and soak in the surroundings.

It’s one of the very best places for glamping in Anglesey!

What guests say: “This was the second time we stayed at Bea’s hut and it did not disappoint! The hut had everything we needed for a few nights’ stay. The bed is comfy and the shower is great, which are two things I look for!! The hut and surroundings are beautiful. Sitting in the hot tub listening to birds and the sea and watching the horses in the field is just magical and is the reason we wanted to come back.”

Price per night: From £130 for 2 people

Location: Llanfairpwllgwyngyll

Pentre Pandy Shepherds Huts are the peak of glamping in Anglesey.

They’re lovely and luxurious, and they offer the perfect setting for a relaxed escape away from the stresses of daily life.

In 2023, they also introduced incredible wood-fired hot tubs in two of their huts, further elevating their upscale living experience.

These huts are a real dream for those looking to stay on the doorstep of Snowdonia National Park and explore the surroundings while staying in style.

Wake up to the sound of the River Braint flowing nearby, then head on out to explore the beauty of North Wales before unwinding on your private balcony.

The views here are truly another level – you won’t want to miss them!

What guests say: “Lovely little space and the getaway my partner and I needed… It’s tucked away in a quiet location on the island, and it had everything we needed and was a great introduction to glamping. The facilities were immaculate and well-kept – I would highly recommend this to any couple looking for a quiet getaway.”

The Caban Difyr Glamping Pod is an exquisite and unique pod that’s one of my absolute go-to spots for glamping in Anglesey.

It’s set in the middle of some lush secret gardens, in a spot that overlooks a duck pond, adding to the overall sense of peace.

It’s the ideal place to properly switch off as you listen to the sound of birds chirping and watch the sunshine fade away behind the trees.

The pod has a two-level decking with plenty of garden furniture to sit on and enjoy the sunset.

This pod truly is a little slice of heaven, and it’s a great place to star gaze on a clear evening.

Spend a day doing water sports, biking or horse riding, before you head back to the pod to unwind with a glass of something delicious and dig into a freshly BBQ’d meal.

This is the spot of dreams!

What guests say: “Amazing location, peaceful and private. The pod is such a great experience, everything is so well organised, BBQ outside with a local shop to buy food and drinks. Sarah is lovely, the garden is beautiful, we loved the ducks and the sheep! We will definitely book again.”

Waking up to the sounds of the countryside is the definition of idyllic, and that’s exactly what you’ll get to enjoy here at the pod.

On your first morning in the pod, you’ll get a complimentary instant BBQ as well as sausages, bacon and rolls for you to cook up a delicious breakfast bap.

They can also cater to dietary requirements – just let them know in advance!

If you fancy heading out for dinner, there are plenty of pubs and cafés for you to check out just a short walk away.

Location: Dwyran, nr Niwbwrch

The Caban Clyd Shepherds Hut is the perfect place to experience the true magic of the Isle of Anglesey, no doubt about it.

It’s a short drive away from Newborough Beach and the famous Llanddwyn Island, which is a must-visit at low tide to enjoy views of the coast and the mountains beyond.

The hut overlooks a field which is home to two lovely sheep, Curly and Wooly, as well as Merfyn the Welsh cob, who recently joined the family.

There’s also a private grassed area with a charcoal BBQ and an outdoor seating space, perfect for al fresco dining.

Just remember that you’ll have to bring your own coals if you want to use the BBQ!

For the ultimate Welsh getaway, this is the place to go.

What guests say: “Phil and Paula were absolutely fantastic! 10/10 stay with great views and a nice little farm if you’re an animal lover.
