Austin is a super cool city (and one of my favorites in the US) so it should be no surprise that they love an acai bowl.

I had some seriously tasty acai bowls the last time I was in Austin so I thought it’d only be fair to share the acai love.

From tantalizing tropical bowls to protein-packed peanut butter bowls, there’s an acai bowl in Austin to suit every taste and budget.

If you’re ready to discover your new favorite places to go for acai bowls in Austin, then read on!

1. Kale Me Crazy

bowl-from-kale-me-crazy-acai-bowls-austin

Address: 8300 N FM 620, Austin, TX 78726

Phone number: 737-205-5629

Price per bowl: $13.80 – $15

Call me crazy but I think Kale Me Crazy might serve up some of the best acai bowls in Austin!

They have two acai bowl options: the first is their original acai bowl and the second is their deluxe acai bowl.

The original comprises organic acai, coconut milk, date, blueberries, cashews, banana, and strawberries, and is topped with banana, coconut, granola, mint, and raw honey.

The second is made with the same ingredients as the first, but instead, it’s topped with banana, granola, chia seeds, hemp seeds, goji berries, sliced almonds, blueberries, and raw honey.

It’s worth the upgrade just for the goji berries and sliced almonds, surely!

And who can say no to the added protein and fiber from the chia seeds and hemp seeds?

If you want to order the first acai bowl, that’ll cost you $13.80, or if you fancy treating yourself to the second, that’ll be $15.

2. JuiceLand

This bowl of goodness has great immunity, antioxidants, and superfoods, and is anti-inflammatory, so you know you’re going to feel amazing after you’ve consumed it.

Even better yet, there are multiple JuiceLands in the city so you’re never too far away from your next acai bowl!

At Innerbloom Nutrition, there are four delicious acai bowls for you to try – and each is as tasty as the last!

Next up, there’s the Blue Berry Blast Bowl which is a delicious blend of acai, blackberry, blueberry, and blue spirulina (blue-green algae that’s highly nutritious!).

This bowl is topped with banana, kiwi, blueberry, almonds, and raw honey.

If you’re a sucker for pitaya (dragonfruit), why not try their Pink Pitaya bowl instead?

This colorful blend of acai, strawberry, banana, pitaya, lotus pollen, and coconut cream is as tasty as it is beautiful.

(Especially when it’s topped with peach, mango, pecans, coconut shreds, and chia seeds!)

Finally, there’s the Nutty Choco Valentine Bowl which has to be my personal favorite.

It’s a blend of acai, strawberry, raw cacao powder, and chocolate almond milk, topped with strawberries, pecans, chocolate hazelnut spread, coconut shreds, and cacao nibs.

The Original and Blue Berry Blast bowls cost $10, while the Pink Pitaya and Nutty Choco Valentine bowls cost $11.

4. Juiced Up Smoothies & More!

juiced-up-smoothies-and-more-acai-bowls-austin

Phone number: 512-790-7944

Price per bowl: $8.75 – $15.99

At Juiced Up Smoothies & More!, the price of your acai bowl depends on its size.

If you go for a 12 oz bowl that’ll cost $8.75, while a 16 oz bowl costs $10.99, and the 24 oz bowl costs $15.99.

Their approach to acai bowls is a build-your-own concept which is great if you’re a little more of a fussy eater or are just in the mood for something in particular.

First, you get to select two ‘crunch’ items (granola, almond slivers, cashews, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and pecans).

Then, you choose two toppings (strawberries, blueberries, banana, kiwi, pineapple, apple, and coconut flakes).

Finally, pick your drizzle (honey, agave, peanut butter, almond butter, Nutella).

If I was ordering, I’d get a 16 oz acai bowl with granola, pumpkin seeds, strawberries, and blueberries, drizzled with peanut butter.

How amazing does that sound?!

5. SunLife Organics

Sun Life Organics knows how to make a seriously special acai bowl.

Their bowls range from their $13.95 Hawaiian Bowl all the way to their $38 Billion Dollar Bowl.

Yep, you heard me correctly – $38!

If you want to save your cents, order the former which is acai sorbet topped with granola, banana, strawberry, and coconut shreds.

Or if you want to say that you’ve ordered the world’s most expensive acai bowl, try the Billion Dollar Bowl which has the longest list of ingredients I’ve ever seen!

(We’re talking everything from chlorophyll and whole leaf aloe to collagen and buffered vitamin C crystals.)

Other options include the $14.95 Brazilian Bowl, the $17.95 Bliss Bowl, the $17.95 Buddha Bowl, and the $18.95 Samurai Bowl.

It should be no surprise that somewhere with the name Blenders and Bowls would serve a fantastic acai bowl.

These self-proclaimed smoothie bowl experts not only sell ready-made smoothie bowls in grocery stores but they also have three lovely cafes here in Austin.

There are a whopping eight acai bowls to choose from, and each is as amazing as the last!

Menu highlights include The Sesher, The Endless Summer, and The Green Bowl, but really, they’re all amazing.

The Sesher is a chocolate-y blend of acai, banana, blueberry, peanut butter, and chocolate almond milk, topped with hemp granola, banana, cashews, raisins, raw cacao nibs, and local honey.

Because who says you can’t have dessert for mains?!

The Endless Summer is perfect for tropical fruit lovers, as it’s made up of acai, banana, mango, and coconut water.

It’s then topped with hemp granola, strawberries, kiwi, pomegranate, and local honey – yum!

The Green Bowl is another favorite just because I’ve never tried acai blended with avocado and spinach before.

That’s one way to get your greens in!

They only have one acai bowl on their menu but you’ll forgive them when you hear just how amazing it is!

Their frozen acai bowl is topped with granola, toasted pepitas, coconut, bee pollen, banana, and berries, and it costs $15.

However, you can also add peanut butter for an extra $2!

When I ordered it recently, I got the peanut butter for some added protein but it was quite heavy on the PB, so I’d probably order it without next time.

Not only is their acai bowl incredibly tasty but it also looks beautiful too – perfect for snapping your next Insta shot!

It’s probably unsurprising that somewhere with the name Acai Bowl Factory allows you to build your own acai bowls.

Now, this is the kind of manual labor I can get behind!

Your first step is to choose your bowl size: 12 oz for $11.95, 16 oz for $13.95, or 20 oz for $16.95.

Secondly, pick up to three fruit toppings from banana, pineapple, blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, mango, kiwi, and raspberry.

Next, choose two dry toppings from granola, raw almonds, chia seeds, and shredded coconut.

Finally, add two other toppings from peanut butter, honey, agave, sweet condensed milk, greek yogurt scoop, and vegan coconut yogurt.

I’d treat myself to a large 20 oz bowl with banana, blueberries, strawberries, granola, chia seeds, peanut butter, and vegan coconut yogurt!

Whatever you order, you’re in for an absolute treat at Acai Bowl Factory.

Their acai superfood bowl is by far the most extravagant of the lot and is topped with everything from blueberry and goji berry to hempseed granola and a superfood blend.

However, my favorite of the bowls would have to be the PB&J bowl.

It’s a delicious blend of acai, pineapple, strawberry, blueberry, banana, housemade cashew milk, and agave nectar.

Throw some peanut butter chia, fresh strawberries, peanut butter granola, a scoop of PB, and housemade chia jam on top, and you’re onto a winner with this bowl!

They only use real ingredients here at Nekter and they make their cashew milk fresh daily, so you can expect nothing but the best from your bowl.

They have three acai bowls to choose from, all for the same sweet price of $9.25: their original, their power bowl, and their superfood bowl.

Their OG is a clean take on the classic, featuring banana, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and agave, all floating on a base of acai, oat milk, and coconut cream.

Next up, their power bowl levels up the protein by swapping out the strawberries for satiating almond butter and almonds.

Finally, their superfood bowl swaps out the strawberries for coconut and goji berries for that added superfood boost.

If you’ve never tried it before, it’s made by blending acai with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and soy milk.

They then complete their trademark bowl by topping it with organic granola, blueberries, honey, and coconut flakes.

It’s all the ingredients you’ve come to know and love from an acai bowl, but in the best way possible!

However, if it’s protein you’re after, you can add soy protein or whey protein.

Civil Goat Coffee is one of my all-time favorite places to go for acai bowls in Austin.

They have six amazing acai bowls to choose from, each costing $10.

My go-to at Civil Goat Coffee is usually the El Cosmico as it’s a classic for good reason.

But I also love ordering the Thunderbird on days I have even more of a sweet tooth.

However, if you want a more tropical bowl, the Paisano is also a fan favorite!

They blend organic acai, pineapple, mango, banana, and coconut water together to make the base, then top it with granola, toasted coconut, kiwi, pineapple, bee pollen, and honey.

How sweet is that?!

You’ll find Civil Goat in two locations in Austin: in Heritage and further out in Austin Lake Hills.

For the acai base, they blend mango, banana, strawberries, acai puree, and oat milk.

Most acai bases don’t include mango so this is a fun tropical twist on your typical acai bowl!

Then, they top the bowl with honey granola, banana, blueberries, and strawberries,

However, if you want a bit of protein, you can also add peanut butter for an extra $2.

It costs $15 and comprises acai, banana, strawberry, almond milk, vanilla yogurt, and housemade granola.

It’s simple but delicious and is best paired with some of their Liquid Brunch mimosas.
