Price per night: From £72.50 for 2 people or £85 for 4 people

Location: Ashbourne

Let’s kick off this post with one of my all-time favourite Peak District glamping pods: Mulino Pods.

Here you can enjoy some of the best views in the Peak District looking over the valley towards Carsington Water.

The views speak for themselves, but as well as incredible views, you also get cosy pods, modern shower rooms, and fast Wi-Fi.

The real highlight, though, is watching the sunset while dining al fresco, or stargazing while toasting marshmallows around the fire pit.

Stay and experience it for yourself!

What guests say: “You have complete privacy, but better than that the views are fantastic from the hilltop vantage point and the pods are cosy whatever the outside temperature. Cooking or barbecuing was easy and the bathrooms are luxurious.”

2. Ashbourne Heights Pods

Location: Fenny Bentley, nr Ilam

Want to know how you can make a glamping holiday in Derbyshire even better?

Throw a hot tub into the mix, of course!

With prices starting from just £17 per person per night, Ashbourne Heights Pods are cheap as chips, without compromising on luxury.

The pod comprises a double bed, sofa bed, kitchen, TV, and en-suite.

And outside (alongside your hot tub), you’ve also got a patio and covered seating area so you can dine alfresco even if the heavens open up!

What guests say: “There were three of us but inside the cabin, there was four of everything, ideal for a family. The towels and bedding were provided, microwave, wines glasses, normal glasses, cutlery and plates, frying pan and other pans, tin opener etc. The hot tub had the most gorgeous view.”

3. Lambs Glamping

Price per night: From £133 for 4 people

Location: Wigley, nr Baslow

Lambs Glamping is home to three award-winning Peak District glamping pods with hot tubs.

Squirrel Pod, Owl Pod, and Robin Pod all sleep up to four people making them a great option for families!

Inside each pod, you’ll find a full kitchen, living room with TV, double bed, bunk bedroom, and bathroom.

And of course, each pod also has a private electric hot tub so you can relax in style.

They each enjoy different settings so pick your favourite – woodland or hill views?

What guests say: “We stayed in the Robin Pod. It was absolutely beautiful and clean and decorated to a high spec. Also, having all the amenities that you need while being away from home. The scenery was amazing and the snow for that weekend made it that extra bit special. The hot tub was absolutely amazing.”

4. North Lees Pods

Price per night: From £40 for 1 person (additional charges for up to 5 people)

Location: Hathersage

Ever thought of staying in a Peak District glamping pod all by yourself?

Well, at North Lees Pods that’s not only normal but it’s actually encouraged as it’s cheaper to stay there on your own!

One night will set you back £40 but you’ll have to pay extra to share your pod with more people.

North Lees is a great option if you want to get closer to nature as these pods are just a replacement for your tent – you’ll need to bring everything you would bring if you were camping, except for your tent!

So whether you stay on your own or with others, you’re guaranteed a good time here, not least because of the pods’ beautiful woodland setting.

What guests say: “As it was early April and still cold I booked a camping pod for the first time and didn’t really know what to expect. I was amazed at how clean and comfortable they are, with lights and power points for recharging your phone. There was also an electric heater, which I had to switch off after about an hour as the place was getting too hot!”

5. Peak Pods

Beautifully positioned in the heart of the Peak District, Peak Pods is a fantastic base for your Peak District walking adventures.

Here you’ll find four gorgeous pods, each of which comprises a double bed, kitchenette, living area with sofa bed, and en-suite bathroom.

Outside, there’s also a patio with a picnic bench and a Weber charcoal BBQ, ideal for long summer evenings spent drinking and dining alfresco.

However, the pods are also well insulated and have heating so they’re great for winter stays too!

What guests say: We’ve stayed in quite a few different types of glamping accommodation, but these pods are definitely our favourites. We just love the location, the beautiful walks in the area and it’s just so peaceful. The pods themselves are immaculate and are so cosy and well-equipped, we feel so happy when we’re there and look forward to our little breaks at Peak Pods.”

Didn’t think so!

Well, Knotlow Farm Pods are just that and their shape makes them ridiculously cute.

The hand-built spruce pods are nestled in a peaceful, sheltered setting bordered by trees and flowers making them a perfect romantic getaway for two.

Want to know what else makes them romantic?

Your very own private hot tub, ideal for stargazing.

Romance at its finest!

What guests say: “The pod itself was well-equipped. We used the gas BBQ to cook dinner on both nights and enjoyed ample use of the hot tub in the evenings too! The beds were comfy and the pod was very cosy to sleep in. We ordered breakfast on the last day of our trip – the bacon sandwiches were lovely.”

Both pods, Skylark and Swallow, contain a king-size sofa bed, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom, as well as central heating and free Wi-Fi.

Even better yet, you can treat yourself to their on-site spa experience with their hot tub, sauna, and pamper treatments.

What guests say: “If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the smallest details on our welcoming pack to the views, the animals around the farm, the hot tub and the pizza oven experience, we loved every minute of our stay. We hope we’ll be back one day.”

Ernest’s Retreat is home to a whole host of different pods, sleeping anywhere between two and five people.

And the best part is that they’re all really easy on your wallet too!

Comprising only beds, they’re all simple inside (reflecting the price tag) but who can complain when you’ve got a proper roof over your head and a heater to keep you warm?

Oh, and they also supply a kettle so you can have that all-important morning coffee or cup of tea.

What guests say: “This place is perfect for an escape into nature. Our glamping pod was more than I expected. It was spacious and had a little kettle and complimentary tea/coffee. Comfortable beds. Clean and well-looked-after facilities include toilets/showers with nice warm water. Beautiful scenery, friendly staff.”

You’re completely self-contained in your pod as each pod is fully insulated with a log burner, hot shower, mini-kitchen, and phone charging facilities.
