Bottomless Brunch Christchurch NZ: 9 Best Brunches [2024]

by

Christchurch is one of my favourite cities in New Zealand.

It’s a cool city with great nightlife and its bottomless brunches are no exception!

If fantastic food and bottomless bevs are your idea of a good time, then you’ve come to the right place because I’ve rounded up everywhere you can go for bottomless brunch in Christchurch.

There’s a great selection of bars and restaurants on this list so I’m sure you’ll find one that takes your fancy.

From themed brunches with live DJs to brunches with bottomless food, here are the 9 best places to go for bottomless brunch in Christchurch!

1. Fiddlesticks Restaurant and Bar

Address: Corner of Worcester Boulevard &, Montreal Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand

Phone number: +64 3-365 0533

Price: $66 per person

Fiddlesticks‘ popular Saturday Bubbles & Brunch deal is one of my favourites.

It costs $66 per person which gets you one delicious brunch dish and a two-hour bottomless bev package.

Fiddlesticks kicks off their fantastic brunch with bread for the table on arrival – and who doesn’t love bread for starters?!

Their brunch menu is one of the best in Christchurch with menu highlights being the chorizo and duck fat hash, and the salmon gravadlax.

If you fancy a traditional brunch dish, why not order the eggs Benedict or multigrain porridge?

Or if it’s a more substantial lunch meal that you’re after, the house burger is a great shout.

Pick your dish of choice (I’ll be going for the creamy mushrooms!) then get ready to wash it down with two hours of bottomless Prosecco, mimosa, Heineken, and bloody Mary.

Non-drinkers can enjoy a cheaper non-alcoholic package at $45 per person for unlimited mocktails, juices, tea, and coffee.

This offer is available between 9 am and 1 pm every Saturday!

2. The Rowdy Kitchen Bar & Eatery

Phone number: +64 3-383 4084

Rowdy Kitchen firmly believes that ‘Good food is never silent’ which is why they love to shout about their brilliant bottomless brunch from the rooftops.

Their offer is simple: pay $58 and you’ll get to enjoy one brunch dish and two glorious hours of free-flowing fun!

The alcohol available at this brunch is Prosecco, mimosa, bloody Mary, and selected beer, with soft drinks, juices, tea, and coffee available for the non-drinkers.

A great selection of drinks to get you sufficiently boozy!

As for the food… well, you’ve got a huge selection of dishes to choose from.

From burgers and pizza to waffles and eggs, there’s something for everyone on their menu.

I personally have my eye on the spiced chicken bliss bowl or the chicken waffles with bacon and maple syrup.

Yum!

Rowdy’s bottomless brunch takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm, so there’s plenty of time for you to get booked in.

3. The Flying Burrito Bros

Address: 236 Saint Asaph Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Phone number: +64 3-260 2605

Price: $59 per person

If you’re a sucker for Mexican food (and who isn’t?!), Flying Burrito Brothers is bound to become your new go-to bottomless brunch in Christchurch.

Their Loco Long Lunches are as fun as they sound so you’re going to want to listen up!

For $59, you get to enjoy some tasty Mexican share plates and wash them all down with bottomless jugs of red sangria and Sol, Tiger or Becks beers.

Told you it was good!

For starters, everyone gets to enjoy corn chips with tomato salsa and guacamole, before moving on to your main.

You can choose between two tacos, homestyle nachos, enchiladas, a burrito, an ensalada, and a quesadilla.

I think I’d have to go for either the chicken tacos or the mushroom quesadillas.

Finally, you’ll get to finish with some delicious churros!

Grab your amigos and get ready to feast at Flying Burrito Brothers every Saturday and Sunday!

4. Botanic Christchurch

Address: 126 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand

Phone number: +64 3-374 5200

Price: $70 per person

Botanic‘s Lavish Lunch is wildly popular and for good reason!

At $70 per person, it’s amazing value for money as this gets you a seasonal platter, a main dish, a dessert, and a generous two hours of bottomless drinks.

That’s a pretty great deal, huh?!

To start, you’ll get to graze on a seasonal antipasto plater of meats, cheese, pickles and dips.

Then, it’s time to choose your main dish – and believe me when I say it’s going to be a difficult decision!

While there are only six dishes to choose from, they’re all unbelievably tasty so it’s a tough choice, for sure.

I think I’d have to order the pumpkin and sweet potato gnocchi with balsamic onions, roasted cherry tomatoes, sage and spinach.

However, that being said, the roasted duck ragu on pappardelle sounds incredible, too.

Finally, for dessert, take your pick from coconut and honey panna cotta, rhubarb and custard, and mango and passionfruit entremet.

This is a bottomless brunch with class, that’s for sure!

As for what you’ll be washing all this fantastic food down with, how do Prosecco, bellinis and mimosas sound?

Good?

I thought so!

5. The Old Vicarage Cafe, Restaurant & Bar

The Old Vicarage is one of my favourite places to go for bottomless brunch in Christchurch.

Their bottomless brunch costs just $59.50 per person which gets you one brunch dish and 90 minutes of bottomless fun!

If free-flowing bloody Mary, Prosecco, Bellini, mimosa and selected tap beer sound like your idea of a good time, then you’re bound to love this brunch.

$59.50 also gets you access to allll non-alcoholic beverages so non-drinkers don’t need to miss out on the fun either!

As for the food, there are five great brunch dishes for you to choose from.

Ready to make your decision?

Let’s go!

Choose from a vegan breakfast, smashed avocado, sweet waffle, savoury waffle, and eggs Benedict.

I’d have to order the sweet waffle with banana, berries, maple syrup, pistachio sugar, and whipped cream.

That’s enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, that’s for sure!

Bottomless brunch is available every Saturday and you’re not going to want to miss it.

6. Kaiser Brew Garden

Their long lunch costs $69 per person which gets you bottomless drinks and bottomless food.

Yep, you heard me correctly – unlimited food!

Enjoy 90 minutes of a rolling food menu, including some delicious pizza and their beloved small plates.

My two favourite pizzas are the pulled pork pizza and the bratwurst and chorizo pizza, both of which are completely delicious.

You’ll also get to enjoy other delights such as calamari, pork belly bites, and fried cauliflower.

How good does that all sound?!

Enjoy your food while Kaiser’s attentive staff keep you topped up with your choice of Prosecco or Peroni.

Whether sunshine or showers, you’re going to love the bottomless brunch at Kaiser Brew Garden!

7. Dux Dine

Address: 28 Riccarton Road, Riccarton, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand

Phone number: +64 3-348 1436

Price: $65 per person

Dux Dine‘s Bubbly Brunch is one of my favourites in the city!

It takes place from 11 am to 1:30 pm Friday to Sunday every single week so there’s plenty of time for you to get involved in the bottomless fun at Dux Dine.

A two-course brunch and a generous two hours of unlimited bubbles and beer will set you back $65 which is great value for money.

The drinks in question are unlimited bubbles, orange juice, peach, elderflower and raspberry syrup, Dux tap beers, mocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and coffee.

So whether you’re drinking or not, you’re more than welcome at Dux Dine!

And, of course, you’ve also got two courses of amazing food to enjoy too.

For starters, everyone gets to enjoy breads and dips, before moving on to the main attraction.

If you fancy a brunch dish for mains, you could order the eggs benny or the smashed avo on toast.

Or if lunch is more your bag, why not try the pasta arrabbiata or the jackfruit burger?

Whatever you order, you’re in for an absolute treat at Dux Dine!

8. Miro

Address: 176 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Phone number: +64 3-925 9909

Price: $75 per person

If you fancy a classy bottomless brunch in Christchurch, look no further than Miro.

While the alcohol may not technically be bottomless, the brunch makes up for it with a wonderful three courses.

Their Bubbles & Brunch menu costs $75 per person which gets you one main dish, a small starter and dessert, and a bottle of Huia Blanc De Blanc per two guests.

You also get one carafe of orange juice so you can make your own mimosas, as well as Allpress Coffee, too.

For starters, enjoy homemade sourdough with olive oil and whipped butter, before moving on to mains.

There are five dishes to choose from for your main, and each is as wonderful as the last.

My three favourite dishes would have to be the grilled vanilla and brown butter brioche, the smoked brisket, and the sweet corn waffles.

I told you the food was good, didn’t I?

Finally, your brunch will end with a seasonal sweet treat because who can say no to something sweet after a meal?!

Miro’s Bubbles & Brunch menu is served daily until 11:30 am.

9. Dux Central

dux-central-restaurant-bottomless-brunch-christchurch

Address: 144 Lichfield Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand

Phone number: +64 3-366 6919

Price: $65 per person

Last but by no means least, we have Dux Central, one of the best places to go for bottomless brunch in Christchurch.

Their weekly bottomless brunch takes place every Saturday and Sunday between 11 am and 1:30 pm and costs $65 per person.

For this price, you get two hours of unlimited bubbles, mimosa, Dux beers, and cider on tap, alongside a shared entree platter and one main meal.

The sharing platter comprises bread and dips, crispy chicken, calamari and olives – a fantastic way to start any brunch in my opinion!

For your main meal, choose between Mills Bay mussels, a Mediterranean salad, a vegan pizza, and beer-battered fish.

I’d have to go for the vegan pizza topped with caramelised onion, mushroom, cumin roasted pumpkin,
sun-dried tomato, chickpeas, and vegan mozzarella.

How unbelievably tasty does that sound?!

Keep an eye out on their events calendar, too, as they often host themed brunches.

Their most recent bottomless brunch event was 80s themed – think themed dress up and non-stop 80s tracks provided by a live DJ.

Now that’s what I call a bottomless party!

So that concludes the 9 best places to go for bottomless brunch in Christchurch.

I hope you’ve found the perfect bottomless brunch in Christchurch for you!

Whichever one you go for, you’re in for a great time.

And if you’re a local, why not try out a few of them over the coming months?

There are worse ways to spend your time, that’s for sure!
