Bottomless Brunch Sheffield: 24 Best Brunches You Need to Try [2021]

by

You can overdress for a breakfast date, but not for brunch. It might be too early to bring out a bottle of bubbly at breakfast, but not at brunch. Not only is the luxury of a delayed breakfast hard to beat, but you don’t have to wait until midday to tuck into your favourite lunchtime delicacies. Basically, brunch is pretty great. And arguably, there is only one thing better than brunch: bottomless brunch. Luckily for brunch-lovers in Sheffield, the city offers an array of dining choices. Trying them all would be a fun but expensive mission, which is why I’ve rounded up the best places to find bottomless brunch in Sheffield.

This article is written by Faraway Lucy writer, Amber O’Connor.

1. Graze Inn

Graze Inn’s bottomless brunch truly offers something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a full English breakfast or a steak sandwich, you’ll be spoilt for choice here. Plus, with the additional offerings of pancakes, granola bowls, and vegetarian breakfasts, Graze Inn caters to a range of dietary requirements.

This brunch spot is bookings only, and you can schedule two-hour slots between 9 am and 3 pm every Saturday. However, be warned: once you’ve gotten to try the delicious offerings, you’ll likely be making dinner reservations too.

Luckily, if you’re looking to dine twice on the same day, you’ll also find plenty to do between your bookings. Graze Inn can be found on Ecclesall Road, which is home to many of Sheffield’s independent shops and several well-loved coffee shops, meaning there are plenty of options for post-brunch activities.

2. The Botanist

The Botanist’s brunch includes all the classic offerings you would expect from such a meal, so pick this restaurant if you want a dining experience that is both tasteful and tasty. It’s recommended to book ahead, and once your date is set, you’ll spend all week deciding if you want the Nutella and Biscoff French toast or pancakes served with fresh berries.

3. Deckards at Barrowboy

Any list of places that do bottomless brunch in Sheffield would be incomplete without Barrowboy, which serves Deckards’ award-winning street food. Deckards offers their own unique twist on brunch, pairing bao buns with mimosas, prosecco and Bloody Marys. Veggies and vegans can rejoice too because Barrowboy also serves katsu aubergine and buttermilk fried halloumi bao options.

If you thought picking your bao would be hard enough, just wait until you’re presented with the choice of delicious sides, which include cheesy fries, Korean fried cauliflower, and blistered Padron peppers. No matter what you choose though, you can expect a brunch like no other.

Bottomless brunch runs every Saturday from 12-4 pm, so if you’re excited to try a different flavour combination, you won’t have long to wait before you can get back to bottomless brunching at Barrowboy.

Picture House Social’s Disco Brunch doesn’t just offer a meal, it offers an experience. Picture brunch set to the backdrop of your favourite disco tunes and then you’ll have an idea of the experience, though it can’t truly be imagined until you get a chance to go.

If the atmospheric dining room, found within the AbbeyDale Picture House, which was built in the 1920s, isn’t exciting enough, there’s also a ping pong room and mini cinema on site. Most importantly, after you’ve been distracted by all the glitz and temporarily forgotten you came out for brunch, you’ll then be served delicious food.

In the brunch deal, you’ll get bottomless drinks, as well as a starter, toast or pizza main, and a side. I recommend the Homemade Baked Beans and Poached Eggs on toast, served with Hendo’s Cheese Sauce for your main, if you want an authentic Sheffield dining experience.
