It’s a fantastic city with loads to see and do, and its foodie and bar scene is really up and coming.

When it comes to cocktail bars, they’ve got everything from tiny little independents to big bustling chains, so you’re sure to find one that will suit you.

They’ve spent well over a decade serving some of Nottingham’s finest and most creative cocktails, and they’re showing no signs of stopping.

Bunk is a personal favourite of mine, and clearly, it’s popular with everyone else, too, as it now has three Nottingham locations.

They’ve got amazing wings and equally incredible cocktails, and it’s really one that you won’t want to miss.

It’s got a cool, casual vibe about it, and it’s the perfect place for you to start your night in Nottingham in.

Their Cheeky Tiki cocktail is unreal, and it’s packed full of booze, plus it’s decorated with a glitter stick!

It’s hidden away behind an old-style Hong Kong alley, and it’s so much fun.

It’s popular with a young crowd and is a particular favourite of students from both of the city’s universities.

If you’re a fan of Vietnamese food, then their daytime café is bound to be right up your street, because the food is fantastic.

It’s a gorgeous secret bar within the Mercure hotel, and it’s a real treasure trove for those that love a unique bar.

400 Rabbits is another of my absolute favourite cocktail bars in Nottingham.

It’s Nottingham’s first and only dedicated Mezcaleria and tequila and cocktail den, and it’s truly iconic.

The bar is tucked away up a small alley, and though it may look unassuming at first, it’s a real fiesta spot, I can promise you that.

During their Happy Hour, which runs from 5 to 8 pm every day, their incredible cocktails are only £5 each – now that’s an offer you can’t say no to!

Aztec mythology comes together with tequila and mezcal here to create something really special.

You just have to visit it – take my word for it!

14. The Lacehouse

The Lacehouse is one of Nottingham’s most iconic cocktail bars.

It’s a space that contains three independent concept bars that are split over two floors, and between them they serve 100 rums and experimental cocktails.

They’re also home to the award-winning pizza joint Happy Dough Lucky, just in case you get a little peckish.

Don’t fancy a pizza?

Dig into one of the amazing burgers by Patty Boys instead.

It’s a charming cocktail and rum bar that has made a former lace factory its home, and it’s a real superstar.

And, to be fair to them, I’d be pretty inclined to agree with that, because who doesn’t love cheese and cocktails?

A bar that’s dedicated to two of the greatest things in life is sure to be exceptional as far as I’m concerned!

Just look at The Blue Buffalo Gourmet Grilled Cheese.

Seriously, how could you not be tempted by that?

They also have a great bottomless cocktails offer that you can combine with discounted tapas dishes to create the afternoon of dreams.

They’re keeping the spirit of tiki alive through their exciting concept bar, and they also run a mobile bar service to cater to all your event needs.

Their motto is that if you’re lucky enough to be at the Tiki bar, then you’re lucky enough, so if you’re feeling lucky, then you better head down there now!

This is a bar that’s made for socialising and unwinding in a comfortable and relaxed environment, so if that’s what you’re after, then this is the bar for you.

It’s a really cool and quirky bar with arcade games and a cocktail menu that’s quite simply to die for.

From air hockey to table football and beyond, this is a bar that will take you right back to your childhood seaside holidays.

All that’s missing is the sea!

For a bar that’s unlike any other in Nottingham, look no further than Penny Lane.
