If you love supporting local, then you’re going to adore this gorgeous glamping site!

What guests say: “The perfect private chilled weekend away. The hut itself is modern, clean and cosy. Great location – you’re not disturbed and feel out of the way but only a few minutes drive from the New Forest walks, local shop, pub etc. The dog loved his freedom to roam and watch all the wildlife. The other half enjoyed his weekend of easy fishing and BBQ duties – hiring the firepit is a must. It’s an idyllic retreat that’s perfect for nature lovers who still enjoy their home comforts.

The hut is fully insulated and heated, so it’s perfect no matter the season!

Thanks to its south-facing position, it’s got stunning views of the surrounding nature and the beautiful New Forest.

The shepherd’s hut is full of character and one of the comfiest spots around.

This little bijou beauty is like a Tardis, opening up to a cosy, relaxing retreat.

Wander down to the local pubs for a proper, hearty country pub meal, then head back to your hut for a dreamy night’s sleep.

What guests say: “This was a great getaway! So peaceful and was able to do things I don’t usually get to do! Made me feel refreshed and excited. I loved it so much that I asked to stay an extra night which was thankfully available! Jo was always so helpful and made sure to check I was alright. She was also very responsive if I ever needed anything or had any questions. Such a brilliant stay!”

28. Beechen Glamping

Price per night: From £100 for 5 people

Location: Dundrige, nr Bishop’s Waltham

Beechen Glamping is the dream spot for glamping in Hampshire.

It’s located on the edge of the South Downs National Park, and it’s perfectly located between Winchester and Portsmouth.

This is a lovely place to slow down and relax, with magical views to soak in all around.

There are two lovely tents to choose from, and they really do offer the ultimate glamping experience.

Both tents are built onto raised wooden platforms to keep you insulated from the ground, and they’re a great choice no matter the weather.

Play a board game as the sun goes down, then fire up the BBQ for a tasty meal.

You’ll leave here feeling completely refreshed!

What guests say: “We stayed three nights in the Hazel Safari tent and had a fabulous first glamping experience. We stayed here because it was a small site, with only two tents and private bathroom facilities. The tent is very spacious and well-equipped with a large verandah. There is plenty of private space outside the tent to play games, BBQ and roast marshmallows on the fire pit. The site is set in beautiful countryside within very easy reach of an excellent pub and Bishop’s Waltham.”
