One of my favourite places to go glamping is Staffordshire, and if you feel the same then you’re in luck because I’ve rounded up the very best places to go glamping in Staffordshire for you.

Whether you’re a pod person or you prefer to live your best life in a spacious yurt, there’s something for everyone here.

There’s plenty to explore in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, so if you’re looking for a break away from it all, then this is the place for you.

1. The Walled Garden Glamping Pods

Location: Rocester, nr Denstone

The Walled Garden Glamping Pods are an absolute beauty.

They’re tucked away inside a renovated Georgian walled garden in the heart of the picturesque Staffordshire countryside, just a stone’s throw away from the Peak District.

This lovely glamping site is a family-owned business, and each of the pods has been lovingly hand-built by the owners, using reclaimed and recycled materials where possible.

Each pod can sleep up to five people in full-sized beds, so this is a great choice for families looking for a countryside escape.

Three of the five pods also accept dogs, so your four-legged friend can come along too!

Curl up with a good book in your luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding after a long day of exploring the stunning surroundings.

2. Peake’s Retreats Yurts

Location: Burton on Trent, nr Ashbourne

Peake’s Retreats Yurts is one of my personal favourite places to go glamping in Staffordshire, and I know you’re going to love it too!

They’ve got three six-metre yurts to choose from, set in a spacious field to give you a sense of privacy without being totally isolated.

All three of the yurts are beautifully decorated to feel like a real home away from home, and they really have thought of every last detail.

Milne’s Corner and Beaumont’s Hideaway each have their own private wood-fired hot tubs, while Potter’s Lodge has a private spa hot tub, complete with powerful jets and whirlpool therapy.

The yurts sleep up to six people each, so they’re a great choice if you’re looking for somewhere to get away with friends.

Be mindful that this is an off-grid retreat – you really can get away from it all here!

Location: Combridge, nr Uttoxeter

Field Head Farm Glamping invites you to come and experience their peaceful little corner of Staffordshire in ultimate comfort and luxury.

It’s a homegrown family business that’s located on a working dairy farm, so if you’ve always wanted a behind-the-scenes look at farm life, then this is the place for you.

Their luxury bell tents are an absolute treat, and up to 24 guests can be accommodated across all of them, so this one is great for large groups.

It’s worth flagging though that the site is only open from April until September, so if it’s caught your eye then you better get booked in to avoid disappointment!

Spend your evenings in The Hideaway sipping on something delicious under the night sky, before heading back to the comfort of your luxurious bell tent for a great night’s sleep.

There’s a bar to store all of your favourite drinks in and BBQs which can be used to cook up a storm after a long day of exploring the surroundings.

For an unforgettable glamping experience, look no further than Field Head Farm.

4. Copper Beech Glamping Shepherd’s View

Copper Beech Glamping Shepherd’s View is a gorgeous place to go glamping in Staffordshire.

It’s a place to escape the every day and discover the beauty of the countryside, and it’s hard not to fall head over heels in love with it.

The site is located on a working beef and sheep farm, so expect to see some four-legged neighbours wandering about as you head off to explore.

At the heart of the site is an impressive copper beech tree which gives the site its name, offering a lovely place to sit and soak in the atmosphere of the surroundings.

The shepherd’s hut is a lovely little spot, complete with all the home comforts you could possibly need, from underfloor heating to a Swiss raclette grill.

There’s even a wood-fired hot tub which is perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunset!

Now this really is living – don’t miss it!

What guests say: Very nice Shepherd’s View hut, clean and very cosy with high-end furnishing, kitchenette well-equipped for a couple’s short stay. The heating worked well given night temperatures were cool when we stayed and the hot tub was really lovely to sit in, watching the sun go down and listening to the lambs in the adjacent field, seeing the local buzzard swooping around. The owners were very helpful and friendly, started the glorious wood-fired hot tub for us and it was easy to maintain the temperature even though it was cool at night.”

5. Rural Staffordshire Glamping Pod Hideaway

If you’re looking for a private and peaceful getaway away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, then Rural Staffordshire Glamping Pod Hideaway will tick all the boxes.

It’s the perfect choice for a blissful escape, and I know you’re going to love it.

You’ll find this pod in the heart of rural Staffordshire, and from the moment you arrive all of your worries will just slip away.

After a long day of exploring, fire up the BBQ and settle in to watch the sky turn from day to night above you as the stars come out to play.

There’s also a fire pit to keep you nice and cosy on chillier evenings before you head inside to curl up in your super-king bed for the night.

There are even overnight horse facilities, so why not bring yours along and go riding while you’re here?

Secret Cloud House Holiday Yurts is a place to truly escape.

They’re multi-award-winning, which must make you at least a little bit curious to see what the fuss is all about, right?

They’ve got five yurts to choose from, sleeping between two and five guests each, so this is a great choice for everything from couple’s getaways to family escapes.

All of the yurts have their own private hot tub, which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of something delicious under the canopy of stars.

If you feel like you need a little extra R&R during your stay, then head over to the wood-fired sauna and Shepherd’s Rest wellness treatment room to truly unwind.

For a relaxing stay that will be sure to leave you feeling revitalised, look no further.

Holly Grove Farm is a lovely spot to go glamping in Staffordshire.

The site is located just outside the picturesque village of Bagnall, which is home to incredible country pubs and plenty of interesting history.

They’ve got a selection of shepherd’s huts to choose from, each of which has been decorated to reflect the rustic-chic atmosphere of the site.

The surrounding countryside is some of the most beautiful I’ve seen, with plenty to explore both on foot and on bike, making this a great option for outdoors lovers.

They’re passionate about providing the very best guest experience, so you can rest assured that you’ll have an unforgettable stay here at Holly Grove!

For a weekend of exploring, or as a base for the nearby Alton Towers theme park, there really aren’t many better places to stay than this!

8. Greenfields Glamping Bell Tent

The Greenfields Glamping Bell Tent is an absolute showstopper.

Head up into the rolling hills of Milwich and allow yourself a few days to completely unwind and reconnect with nature.

This gorgeous bell tent has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and it sleeps up to six people, so is great for a group of friends looking to escape for a while.

Spend your evenings around the fire pit enjoying a delicious meal that’s been cooked up on the BBQ, washed down with a cold glass of wine.

If you don’t fancy cooking, the nearest pub is just 20 minutes’ walk away, so you don’t need to worry!

The tent is located on a 50-acre farm, and it offers total privacy from the outside world.

Step outside in the mornings and take in the beautiful views around you.

Now this is what glamping is all about, trust me!

The yurt is surrounded by woodland and fields, creating a sense of peace and tranquillity that will help you unwind in no time.

It’s got everything you need for the ultimate glamping experience, from a private hot tub to an outdoor fire pit where you can cook up a tasty meal.

Inside you’ll find a selection of board games, perfect for bonding with your loved ones and unleashing your competitive spirit!

The yurt sleeps two adults, and an extra mattress can be brought in for two children, or there’s the option for the little ones to camp in a tent next door!

You can even request champagne on ice if it’s a special occasion.

They really have thought of everything!

10. Ecopod Holidays

Location: Alton, nr Alton Towers

Ecopod Holidays is a glorious glamping site on the edge of the Peak District.

They’ve got six eco pods spread out across their 10-acre orchard, meaning each one has a sense of privacy and seclusion without being isolated.

There are snaking pathways linking the pods together, and it’s an absolute delight to walk through the orchard trees as you leave your pod to head to visit another.

Each eco pod is totally unique, as the interiors are made from reclaimed wood and the exteriors are clad with local cedar or larch.

From the vantage point of the site, you’ll be able to enjoy incredible views over the Weaver Hills and Churnet Valley, so be sure to bring your camera along!

Wake up to the sound of birds tweeting all around you before heading out to explore.

There truly is no better way to spend a day than discovering the beautiful Staffordshire countryside!

The Horsebox Wagon is probably my favourite spot to go glamping in Staffordshire.

It’s a vintage horse lorry that’s been converted into a gorgeous accommodation, and let me tell you, it’s an absolute treat.

You’ll find everything you need here to relax, and I know you’re going to love it.

Curl up with a book and a glass of wine on the deck, then step into the wood-fired hot tub to watch as the stars come out above you.

It’s worth noting that the hot tub comes at an additional cost of £20 per night, but I can promise you that it’s worth every penny!

The wagon is located on a smallholding, and you’re welcome to wander around and meet the owners’ friendly animals during your stay, so it’s a great choice for animal lovers.

12.  Converted Glamping Bus

If you’re after a glamping site that’s both comfortable and unique, then this one is for you.

The Converted Glamping Bus is a quirky place to stay, and it ticks all the boxes for the ultimate glamping experience.

As a matter of fact, it might be one of my favourite spots to go glamping in Staffordshire.

It’s an absolute delight, especially when you take into account its romantic woodland setting too!

Not only is it unique, but it also incorporates quirky décor, which is always a win in my books.

The exteriors are hand-painted to depict the Native American energies and way of life, while the interiors are cosy and welcoming to create a real home away from home feel.

If you want to reconnect with the energies of nature, then you’ll fall in love with this spot.

It’s worth booking in early if you’d like to stay though – it’s super popular and you don’t want to miss out!

Curl up by the fire pit and toast some marshmallows for a real glamping experience.

There’s nothing better than spending a night here – you’re going to love it!
