For a stunning and unspoilt stretch of the Cornish coast, St Agnes never disappoints.

It’s a great base for your next trip to Cornwall, and luckily for you, there are loads of great places to stay here.

For the quintessential British experience, I’d recommend a cosy, charming cottage.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic break, a family getaway, or a staycation with friends, these holiday cottages in St Agnes will not disappoint!

So from quaint, comfortable stays to modern, luxurious getaways, here’s my round-up of the 7 most beautiful holiday cottages in St Agnes.

1. Bakery Cottage

Price: From £621 for 7 nights

Having recently stayed in Bakery Cottage, I can 100% attest to how incredible this property is.

The aptly-named cottage used to be an old baker’s shop.

However, it has since been restored and transformed into a beautiful two-bed cottage full of original features like low beamed ceilings.

With two bedrooms and bathrooms, it’s the perfect property for two sets of couples who want lots of socialising space but their own privacy too.

Inside, you’ll find lots of modern comforts like huge rainfall showers, a gigantic bathtub, heavenly Hypnos mattresses, and an incredible kitchen diner.

The fun doesn’t stop inside though as the outside is just as impressive!

The two-tiered garden features everything from a barbeque to an undercover outdoor bar to lots of lovely seating areas.

If the weather’s on your side, you’ll catch some lovely sunsets here.

Or if it’s rainy, you can cosy up in front of the fire with a good book.

What guests say: “Bakery Cottage exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. The quality of everything was exceptional especially the bathrooms which were gorgeous with fabulous showers and a bath. The welcome goodies were locally sourced and delicious too, a very well-received gift and echoed the attention to detail throughout.”

2. No 7 Churchtown

Price: From £603 for 7 nights

Nestled right in the heart of St Agnes, No 7 Churchtown is a great option for those who want to be close to shops and restaurants.

The dog-friendly cottage sleeps up to four people and would be a great option for a friend or family getaway.

Inside, the property is decorated in calming shades of blue, green, and grey to match the cottage’s surroundings.

The open-plan kitchen and living area is the perfect place for cooking and hosting, while the enclosed courtyard and top patio are idyllic spots to enjoy breakfast or drinks in the sunshine.

However, if the weather’s not on your side, don’t worry because there’s a cosy wood burner to snuggle up by.

And at the end of the day, you can retreat to your luxurious king-sized bed for a great night’s sleep.

What guests say: “Really beautiful cottage, comfortable and luxurious with all amenities and great attention to detail. The shower was brilliant, TV and channels were good. We had a very comfortable stay here – my son loved all the cushions! The scones were such a lovely touch, we were very grateful for these.”

3. Smugglers Cottage

Price: From £714 for 7 nights

Smugglers Cottage is an amazing holiday rental.

From a spacious country-style kitchen to a cosy sitting room to lots of great outdoor space, everything about this cottage is incredible.

With two double bedrooms and a single bedroom with an extra trundle bed, the cottage sleeps up to five adults or four adults and two kids.

This means it’s perfect for a big family break.

However, while the inside is impressive, my favourite part of the cottage is actually outside!

The outdoor round table has an incredible firepit in the centre, making it the perfect spot for evening drinks come summer or winter.

As well as this seating area on the lower level, there’s also an enclosed decked area which is a sun trap on sunny days.

I’ll be up there with a good book and a glass of wine!

What guests say: “Stayed at Smugglers Cottage and absolutely loved it. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and very well-equipped. We felt at home staying here and didn’t want to leave! The cottage is close to lots of amenities including lots of lovely pubs cafes and restaurants. I would recommend it to anyone.”

4. Rose Cottage

Price: From £603 for 7 nights

For a romantic break for two or a staycation for a family of four, Rose Cottage is a great option.

Inside, you’ll find a gorgeous double bedroom and a bunk bedroom for the kids, as well as a cosy kitchen and open-plan living and dining area.

While it’s one of the smaller holiday cottages in St Agnes, the white walls and abundance of natural light make it feel more spacious than it is.

However, be warned: low lintels, ceilings, and beams mean that tall folks should take care!

The heart of the cottage is the cosy living and dining area, with a wood burner adding warmth to the space.

And in the small front garden, you’ll find a huge palm tree and a table and chairs where you can enjoy glorious sunny days.

For one of the cutest holiday cottages in St Agnes, you can’t go wrong with Rose Cottage.

What guests say: “We had a wonderful week at Rose Cottage. It’s a beautiful cottage with everything you will need. We were fortunate to get lovely weather. The cottage stayed nice and cool inside, while the garden was a wee sun trap, especially in the evening. The location is perfect, situated halfway between the village and the beach.”

Price: From £455 for 7 nights

Honeysuckle Cottage is an absolute gem of a property.

And after you’ve scrolled through the photos, I know you’ll be quick to agree!

This gorgeous cottage sits 3.2 miles south of St Agnes so it’s a little out of the way but well worth travelling for.

Hidden down a quarter-mile-long unmade farm track, it’s as rural as it gets here!

Once you’ve navigated your way to the cottage, you’ll be met by a huge cottage that feels more akin to a farm, thanks to its amazing outdoor space.

Outside the family cottage, there’s a trampoline, a picnic table, a cosy hut for BBQ nights, and an incredible viewing platform with comfy outdoor furniture.

Inside, the property is just as impressive.

There’s a king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom, two bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area.

With prices starting from just £114 per person for an entire week, Honeysuckle Cottage is an absolute steal.

Book here to make amazing family memories that will last a lifetime!

What guests say: “We had another lovely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. We have had many happy stays here and hope to come back. Nick and Maria are always so warm and welcoming and we love the peaceful location. The garden and cottage are beautifully kept and very comfortable. 6. Rosemary Cottage

Price: From £1150 for 7 nights

If you like your cottages a little more modern, then you’ll love Rosemary Cottage.

Step through the small wooden gate and down the path towards the picture-perfect cottage and you’d be forgiven for thinking this cottage seems old-worldy.

However, while its name and exterior may be traditional and quaint, its interior is anything but!

With a light and spacious kitchen, a gorgeous living area, two boutique bedrooms, and two modern bathrooms, Rosemary has been beautifully renovated.

The cottage has a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom so it’d be ideal for a romantic break for two or a family break with two kids.

Outside, you’ll also find a private patio area which becomes a bit of a suntrap during the summer.

It’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or eating breakfast al fresco.

What guests say: “What a gem! Everything was thought of from a hot water shower for wetsuits to a large sofa to lounge in and sun traps in the front a back for morning coffee and croissants. Quaint exterior but is deceptively spacious inside and beautifully done. A seriously short walk to the beach. Joyce and Dave were superb hosts.”

7. Jubilee House

Price: From £1263 for 7 nights

Jubilee House is a truly incredible property that’s perfect for a huge family or group of friends.

Sleeping up to ten people, it’s one of the largest cottages I’ve ever seen, which is great news if you’re travelling with lots of people.

Lovingly restored, Jubilee is steeped in history but is full of modern features.

Think beautiful stained glass windows, alongside huge rainfall showers.

Across the three floors, you’ll find five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a huge kitchen/diner, and a spacious living room with a Smart TV.

What guests say: “We loved this house. We were a family of nine adults, three children, and three dogs and we had plenty of space! Lovely beds, bedding, and towels. A well-equipped kitchen with good-quality pots, pans, and baking trays. Plenty of sofas for us all and we all got around the dining table.”

So that concludes my round-up of all the best holiday cottages in St Agnes – and what a selection you’ve got here!

You’re absolutely spoilt for choice with accommodation here, no matter what you’re looking for.

Have a proper look through all these properties, book your favourite, and get ready for an incredible trip!
