1. The Electric Rooftop Bar

Address: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Lincoln, Brayford Wharf N, Lincoln LN1 1YW

Phone number: 01522 565194

The Electric Rooftop Bar is a firm favourite when it comes to rooftop bars in Lincoln.

The floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views over the city – and their food and drinks are just as fantastic too.

By day, visit for coffee, brunch or lunch, and by night, visit for food and drinks.

Their food menu ranges from light bites and salad bowls to mains and sandwiches, so there’s something for everyone at The Electric.

I can’t decide between the katsu chicken burger or the peri-peri gyros sandwich – they both just sound too good!

The Electric is also one of the best places to go for bottomless brunch in Lincoln which gives it extra brownie points in my eyes.

As for the drinks, they serve classic and signature cocktails, champagne, lager and ales.

Top tip: visit from 4 – 7 pm Sunday – Thursday to enjoy their Sunset Sips: a range of cocktails from just £4.50.

What a bargain!

2. Citadel

Address: Citadel, 1 St Paul’s Ln, Lincoln LN1 3AL

Phone number: 01522 536333

Citadel is one of the locals’ favourite rooftop bars in Lincoln and it’s not hard to see why.

This wonderful cocktail bar is situated in the heart of Lincoln’s cathedral quarter, which means its roof garden enjoys unrivalled views of the cathedral and castle.

These views are hard to beat, that’s for sure!

There’s always so much going on at Citadel, whether it’s afternoon tea, bottomless brunch, or 2-4-1 burger and pizza deals.

Their menu is expansive, featuring boards, steaks, burgers, pizza, and so much more…

However, by far my favourite thing about Citadel is its wide variety of vegan options.

From a vegan pizza and a dirty vegan burger to Korean vegan chick’n skwers and a jackfruit and bean chilli, plant-based diners won’t be short on options.

The drinks menu is equally as impressive with wine, draughts, beers, ciders, gins, spirits, whiskey and liqueurs for you to choose from.

Pick your favourite drink and get ready to enjoy it while soaking up some of the best views in Lincoln!

3. Bar 49

Address: Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Sleaford Road, Tattershall Lincoln LN4 4LR

Phone number: 0333 242 9852

If the photo above hasn’t already tempted you to visit Bar49, I’m not sure what will!

Situated in Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Bar49 enjoys some of the best views of any of these rooftop bars in Lincoln.

You do need to travel out of the city to get there but I firmly believe it’s worth it.

I mean, who can say no to lake views, right?!

This rooftop bar has a banging atmosphere, amazing views, and all the best cocktails.

Think creative concoctions like AxleJack Sourz, Martiki, and Cherry Bakewell.

Alongside cocktails, the drinks menu also features wine, gins, spirits, beer and cider.

As for food, eating is casual here and you can accompany your drink with one of their tasty small plates.

On-site, you’ll also find The Giggling Goose, a gin and cocktail bar that also has a secret rooftop garden if you fancy ticking off two rooftops at once!

The menu is identical so you won’t be getting anything new there but at least you can enjoy your tasty drinks in a different setting, right?

4. Everyman Cinema

Address: Unit 6, Exchange Square, Sincil St, Lincoln LN5 7ET

Phone number: 01233 555642

A cinema and rooftop bar in one?

Count me in.

Everyman’s terrace is a tucked-away little sunspot for you to enjoy a few beers or a couple of cocktails.

A cinema date at Everyman is one of my favourite things to do, and their outdoor terrace will make your cinematic experience even better!

It’s a lovely narrow terrace which gives it an intimate feel, and after visiting once, it will fast become your favourite summertime cinema in Lincoln.

Everyman offers an array of drinks including cocktails, wine, beers and ciders; I’d recommend getting the Sharing Sipsmith G&T so you can get extra boozy.

Then, soak up all the booze with their selection of pizzas, hot dogs, burgers and sharing plates.

Ooh, or how about some of their freshly-made double chocolate cookie dough?

With films, food, cocktails, and free Wi-Fi up for grabs, what’s not to love?

5. Home Nightclub

Address: Park St, Lincoln LN1 1UF

Phone number: 01522 243235

Locals will be more than familiar with Home Nightclub with its six very distinct themed bars, but have you ever popped up to its roof terrace before?

The nightclub hosts some of the best events in the city, and some of them are hosted on their terrace.

This means you can enjoy rooftop life to the soundtrack of some of the best live DJs around.

However, you can still enjoy their rooftop all throughout the day and night while events aren’t on.

Grab a cocktail or an ice-cold beer and relax at a table on their spacious rooftop.

Or why not order some food to accompany your drinks?

I’ve heard their pizzas go down a treat!

Home’s rooftop brings summer vibes aplenty and I just know you’re going to love it as much as I do.

6. The Pyewipe

Address: The Pyewipe, Saxilby Rd, Lincoln LN1 2BG

Phone number: 01522 528708

Last but by no means least, we have The Pyewipe, situated a little out of the city centre on Saxilby Rd.

If it’s country pub vibes that you’re after, it’s country pub vibes that you’ll get at The Pyewipe.

The pub is a family-run business that’s perfect for a casual lunch or a drink in the sunshine!

It’s perfectly positioned alongside Britain’s oldest man-made waterway meaning the views are second-to-none.

These views are, of course, best enjoyed from their outdoor terrace which is as lovely as you can imagine.

The Pyewipe do food amazingly well so I’d recommend stopping by for a bite to eat as well as a drink.

With dishes like slow-cooked belly pork, Indonesian root vegetable curry, and oven-roasted duck breast on the menu, a meal is certainly hard to turn down.

Come for the views and stay for the amazing food and drinks – you won’t regret it!

So there you have it: the 6 best rooftop bars in Lincoln.

It’s safe to say you Lincoln locals have a great selection of bars to choose from.

Pick your favourites and make your way around them on a sunny Saturday bar crawl.

Sounds like the perfect weekend activity to me!
