The Bothan Buidheag Shepherd’s Hut is not to be missed.
It’s a peaceful spot with a matching shepherd’s hut nearby, located on Janet’s characterful croft, where you’ll also find her home, a henhouse and two friendly donkeys.
The hut can be found on the edge of the small village of Heaste, so you’re not too far away from local amenities, but can still enjoy your secluded little corner.
The views from the hut are absolutely spectacular, with the mountains on one side and the Isle of Rum on the other.
You’ll find everything you need here for a luxurious stay, and I know you’ll love it.
Spend a day exploring the Fairy Pools before heading back to spend an evening around the communal fire pit as the stars come out above you.

The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or two under the night sky!
Inside you’ll find candle lanterns and a wood-burning stove to keep you toasty on those chilly winter evenings.
