Country Huts on the Wolds are an absolute delight.

They’re made out of reclaimed mill timbers, with the exteriors being sourced from a flour mill in Chester, the interiors from a bonded warehouse in Newcastle and the floorboards from Goosehill School in Morpeth.

Both huts are insulated with sheep’s wool and double-glazed to keep you cosy, with the added warmth of your very own wood burner and a radiator.

After a long day of exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, climb into your cosy bed for the perfect night’s sleep.

The part-covered veranda is a dreamy spot to dine al fresco, so be sure to make the most of it as the day turns to night above you!

What guests say: “I booked the Wool Hut for a quiet solo retreat and was very impressed with the whole experience. I’ll be back and I’ve recommended the Country Huts on the Wolds to friends and family. Thanks again!”

Curl up by the fire and enjoy the view through the glass doors, or build an outdoor fire in the woodland-inspired fire globe if you want to brave the chill outside.

The hut has been made with natural and reclaimed materials where possible, so it’s great for anyone looking for an eco-friendly option, too!

What guests say: “Such a lovely little hut with all you could need to stay for such a little space. We loved the unique space and peaceful countryside. Location: Roecliffe, nr Boroughbridge

Clean and quaint, Waingates Farm Huts take charm to a whole new level!

Waingates is home to five pretty huts, each with wood-fired hot tubs.

My favourite huts of theirs are Peddero and Tayter.

A first for the UK glamping market, these spacious and luxurious huts were inspired by igloos and made using beautiful traditional wood shingles.

Not only are the huts gorgeous, but they’re also set in some pretty incredible surroundings.

Located on the family-run Roecliffe Estate, there are plenty of wonderful walks to enjoy without even leaving the estate.

The site is also a stone’s throw from the Staveley Nature Reserve, a superb wetland site that borders the estate.

This is a great choice for big groups who want to get away together!

What guests say: “Just stayed in Tayter and we had the most amazing trip. The hut is very well designed and spacious with the most beautiful views. In the mornings, step outside into your own private garden and spend a moment sitting and taking in the beautiful scenery.

You can request a breakfast basket to be ready on arrival, too, which will make your stay even easier and more relaxing than it already was!

It’s set in the grounds of Sowdens House, a Georgian mill owner’s house which is noted in Charlotte Bronte’s diary, so if you love history, then this spot is for you!

What guests say: “We had a wonderful stay with Jenny and Nigel who made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The shepherd’s hut was stunning and we couldn’t fault it. 17. West Hale Gate Glamping

driffield-hut-with-hot-tub-at-west-hale-gate-glamping

Price per night: From £125 for 2 people

Location: Burton Fleming, nr Bridlington

Next up, we have West Hale Gate Glamping whose shepherd’s huts are immaculately appointed.

My favourite thing about them is that, unlike many shepherd’s huts, they have wide opening doors allowing for plenty of light and fresh air to flood its way into the hut.

But with their own log-burning stoves, they still feel cosy, warm and inviting!

Each hut has a double bed, a comfortable sofa, a dining area, and a bespoke handcrafted kitchen.

However, what sets the lovely people behind West Hale apart from other glamping sites is their willingness to go the extra mile for their guests.

And that is shown by the homemade cake and bottle of fizz that awaits your arrival.

Adding an even greater touch of luxury is the Lambing Shed, a large and airy rustic kitchen diner for guests to use.

They stock this gorgeous space daily with an inclusive continental breakfast (this place might as well be a hotel!) but it has everything you could need to knock up a full English, too.

What guests say: “This was our first time glamping so we didn’t really know what to expect but this gorgeous little place exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Blue Texel, which had lots of cute little home comforts and little touches… so warm, comfy and cosy. We loved it in the hot tub, fire pit etc.”

Location: Wormald Green, nr Harrogate

Strawberry Safari Shepherd’s Huts are some of the most luxurious Yorkshire shepherd’s huts that I’ve seen and trust me, I’ve seen a lot!

You’ll find them in North Yorkshire, on a site that once upon a time formed part of the Ripon to Harrogate railway line, but is now a rural retreat that’s focused on relaxation.

There are three beautiful huts to choose from, all of which are tucked away between fruit trees and acres of open space.

Elsanta is the smallest hut, giving it a cosy vibe, while Florence is slightly larger, and Sonata comes with its own unique layout and the luxury of underfloor heating.

Each of the huts has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, from cosy linen to a delicious welcome pack.

Get booked in, this isn’t one you’re going to want to miss!

What guests say: “Fantastic stay in the new Sonata Hut. Beautiful décor in the hut with the added luxuries. Slippers on arrival in the hut, as well as a welcome pack of cookies, coffee, teas, and lovely toiletries which go a long way – very appreciative. Plus the chocolates as well – very kind!”

With a name like Incline View Holidays, it should come as no surprise that these shepherd’s huts enjoy some pretty spectacular views.

And that they do!

However, there are many more reasons to stay here than just the views.

All four huts have a private bubbly hot tub, as well as a BBQ and ample outdoor seating from which you can enjoy the views.

Inside, the story is much the same!

Anticipate a beautiful and well-appointed hut, with the cosiest bed nook, divided from the living area with a curtain.

Highly romantic and well-thought-out, I’m sure you’re going to love these huts just as much as I do.

What guests say: “One of the best places we have stayed! Loved everything about our hut. The place is gorgeous. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and so thoughtful, and the place was spotless. It was so amazing we actually extended our stay!”

What guests say: “The Bailey Shepherd’s Hut is such a special place, with great hosts, we were sad to leave! It’s finished to a very high standard, and every detail has been considered to make it cosy and welcoming for guests!
